Travelling with my bicycle, I asked the staff to park it in a safe place, so they opened me the garage. Then, I chose to have dinner and tasted the delicious Black forest burger.
All along, the staff was perfect.
The room was spacious, clean, and with everything I needed for one night.
The hotel is perfectly located near Hornberg, in the middle of the Black Forest.
I definitely would have spent a few more nights to enjoy the sauna and the books.”

There was a balcony overlooking the car park but this was not a bad thing, it might not have a view of the lake but I didn't even know I'd got a balcony when I booked. Breakfast was good, there's fresh bread and a toaster, the usual continental breakfast and plenty to go at. Didn't eat again until dinner (pm) time. Big car park and you're right in the Black Forest region. I had stayed in Wolfach before and just wanted to be right in the forest rather than in a town - this ticked the box and then some. Huge shower, lovely modern and spacious bathroom. Food was excellent - not one person in our group was disappointed and we have varying tastes. Owners were lovely, very welcoming and staff were polite and professional. Absolutely will book again.”
