“With a two night stay comes a card, which allows you a free use of some attractions nearby (and also not so nearby). We used it for a ship ride under the Rheinfall in Switzerland. So if you are contemplating staying at this hotel, this card can be a plus.
The hotel itself has something that could be called a "ruhige Lage" in German. In fact it's in a small village, not far by car from the city center of Donaueschingen. Not far means five minutes.
Our triple room had a balcony, but unfortunatelly we didn't have spare time to fully enjoy it. But we can imagine sitting on it and observing the countryside.

“The location is fantastic! We used the Konus card we were issued to travel free on the trains and buses and it is a short walk to catch either. The old town and shops are also close by. Although the apartment is close to the railway we didn’t notice any noise.”
