Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Czech RepublicRooms are outdated, beds and mattresses maybe not the most comfortable but OK.
Right in front of the train station. Secured parking, good breakfast and restaurant on site are the big plus of this hotel. Staff is very nice and helpful.

United KingdomA bit tired and dated. The location, on a busy road and next to the station, was quite noisy and not a particularly nice area.

HungaryAbout brealfast, only a few food went out very fast and we had to wait a lot to get it again (like pancake and ham. The juice was extremly sweet and unnatural.
The breakfast was OK according to the *** hotel. The restaurant of the hotel was really good, we tried salmon for dinner and it was tasty and the price was also very friendly. The lady at the reception was very friendly.

GermanyThere's nothing at all to complain about when it comes to this hotel. They're a good and affordable option. However, I had a problem with the booking, and this was because of Booking.com. I booked a room with a balcony, but this was NOT communicated to the hotel. Since they were full, they couldn't move me. This exact thing has now happened to me twice, and it seems that Booking.com has been at fault each time. But I have had more serious problems with them too - like the time, last year, when I found myself standing outside an apartment late at night, unable to get access to the place I booked, so I called the Booking.com emergency number ... and was hung up on after an automated announcement. It appears that this company has joined the trend towards ensh*ttification. I'll be seeking alternative ways to book in the future; if Booking.com can't even tell the hotel correct information about which room I booked, then I don't see much point in using their service.
I enjoyed this stay. The staff were helpful, the breakfast was good, and there were lots of facilities in the hotel (including a nice, quiet terrace at the back). It's also lose to trams which take you right to the centre in just a few minutes. NOTE: If you're coming by train, there's a railway station 100m from the hotel, and a lot of long distance trains stop there. It's called Jizni Predmesti. It's much better to get off there than to go to the Hlavni Nadrazi (main station).

CroatiaVery quiet room, light bathroom and a comfortable bed. The furniture was a bit old, but clean. Breakfast was superb and the garden super quiet, a real oasis in the morning. The location is also good, the centre is reachable on foot within 10-15 minutes. And reaching the hotel itself by car was not complicated. The parking lots are secured by a fence.

New ZealandReception and Restaurant staff need a special mention - excellent. Lovely outdoor dining an option for the evening meal and a very good breakfast was provided. Good value for money and for us, its location to the train station is all but across the street, but without any train noise.

RomaniaThe rooms facing the street get a good deal of traffic noise - the windows help when closed, but not 100% (however with a pair of ear plugs you won't hear anything at all). There is a musty smell permeating the room at all times, but that's probably because the hotel itself is quite old.
The hotel room is decently sized, the people working there are nice, the breakfast is very good (you have a pretty varied selection), and they have their own parking lot and allow pets. I think the walk to the city center is approx. 12 mins walking. The beds and pillows are fairly confy.

GermanyI stay in 2 different rooms the first one was perfect size, sadly that was with single bed and I don't really like it. The air conditioner is there but you can't turn it on because there's no remote control. And the 2nd room perfect with bathtub, but there's no air conditioner. 😕
The Hotel pretty center, you can walk from pilsen central Station about 20 minutes if you slower like me 😄. The breakfast pretty good too

BulgariaI did not like the juice they offered during breakfast because it was a very diluted concentrate.
I liked that it was very close to the tram stops because I needed to use public transport every day. The breakfast offered different options which can meet the individual preferences. The room was cleaned every day as it supposed to be so everything was pretty normal.

New ZealandNot easy to find a parking spot.
The room was large with plenty of space in the wardrobe for your clothes. Although the building is old and the floor was a bit squeaky, we had a pleasant quiet sleep. The bathroom was clean with a blowdryer and the shower had good pressure. The breakfast was simple but nice (bread, sausages, eggs, cereal, pancakes, coffee, tea, etc).
