Location to the centre of KV is very good albeit on a steep hill, but that’s more to do with the geography of the town’s location. Staff were very helpful & welcoming & very clean & comfortable, particularly the bedrooms & immaculate bathroom, the housekeeping staff deserve particular credit!

It was not clear in the reserving process that some of the rooms are not modernized. The terrace at the entrance needs repair, not covering with a green carpet. Tablecloth on the terrace tables will be nice and indicative of the quality of meals witch is realty great.

The hotel is situated in heart of Karlovy Vary, near most of the hot springs and retains some of the fin-de-siecle atmosphere of old Karlsbad. Even if is situated in the pedestrian area, it is possible to unload luggage, simply phone the reception on arrival and they can lower the obstacles, and then if you reserved a parking place, the hotel has nearby some places. More than half the hotel is renovated but as we have booked a room with balcony, despite the very nice view, it was hot with no air conditioning and the bathroom was dated so we asked the second night and received an other room modern and with air conditioning. Breakfast was very good and we recommend also dinner. Staff was very helpful and nice.

Getting access wasn’t straightforward and hotel parking was in the street a 5 minute walk away so not secure parking.

Central location but once again not the easiest to drive to as you had to get the hotel to lower the street bollards. Hotel on a steepish hill but not too far up it. Good room, the hotel is a bit dated in the communal areas but we quite liked that. You are right in the middle of the spa area so not far to walk.

Wheather. It was really very hot in the days of our stay. On the third day we had a havy rain in the evening who’s brought a little fresh air to the city. I wouldn’t be surprised if that was done by the great staff .

People on the front desk are absolutely wonderful! We received a great room with great view but no air-conditioner in it. With no complaints I just asked if there any possibilities to move us to an air-conditioned room. Received a promise to get it as soon one will be available. It was done on the second night. This was absolutely great! We asked gor few arrangements with the concerts, restaurants, taxi for the way back to bus station. All was done in a very professional way.

It was great !

Old fashioned elegance yet unpretentious. Right in the heart of the old spa area yet quiet ! The breakfast was amazing , my favourite being the gateaux which was actually vegetable pancake layered with cream cheese to look like a huge cake. The choice of salads and attention to detail was great for a relatively small hotel. Our room was spacious. Really recommend the hikes in the forest on both sides of the valley.

I could not stay longer!

Literally EVERYTHING! Comfort, style, unbeatable service! In good meaning old fashioned - you're got a feeling you are beck in time, in Austrian-Hungarian Monarchy. Building itself is anarchitectural pear, real beautiful Art Nouveau.

Our rooms didn’t look like any pictures we saw on website and were quite dark and small. We were only doing one night so didn’t moan.

What I didn't like that I've told the reception that we will not attend to the breakfast on the second day because we have a flight , and asked if there an option to prepare a box for us , they said no because before 7 it is not possible (which is not true because I saw them week ago they are almost ready before 6:30. I asked them maybe we can change it with a dinner/ lunch , or at least to give us a discount in their dinner menu in the hotel's restaurant. They didn't suggest anything instead

The process for entering the pedestrianised area with our car in order to drop off bags was a little complicated but it all worked well in the end. The hotel had a number of reserved parking spaces within 100 metres of the building.

Charming Art Noveau style building in a very central location. Very much an old style hotel but so much the better for that. It had real personality! Our room with a balcony overlooked the town, and was clean and comfortable. Food and service in the restaurant was good.
