We came at the time of an unusual heat wave and the rooms all the way upstairs were very warm, hard to sleep at night. The bathtubs didn't drain and the facilities could be cleaner to my standard. No elevator and AC both expected but still inconvenient.

The owner was very nice and accomodations, the breakfast was delicious, the location convenient, price hard to beat.nice character to the building. Lovely backyard area.

The house is located within 30m of a major road into the city, so if you are visiting in summer and open windows to cool down, expect it to be loud. The facilities are pretty run down, and the decorations are not functional (e.g., wall lamps do not work, etc.). The towels provided are in a sorry state (see pictures). The room does not look like 30m² as promised. The room we stayed in was split into perhaps an 18m² sleeping area, some weird entrance area maybe around 6m², and a bathroom maybe another 6m², so it looks like it may be close to 30m² as advertised, but there is not much free space left once the third bed is added to the room.

The house is pretty close to the city center and a free parking is available next to the house. The host provided a free cooled water via a water column, you could also get hot water using the kettle in the kitchen.

-There was no notice ahead of being rebooked to another hotel -I had to pay a small surcharge (which was less than 10€, though)

Due to whatever reason I was rebooked to another hotel nearby (about 500m away) - Hotel Sportarena behind the stadium. The new hotel is very decent, neat, and clean and the rooms are well equipped and the staff are friendly. Also breakfast was included in the rebooking.

The key issue - aside from some minor elements - was the noise from outside generated by local traffic (while having open windows), but the scale of the problem does not depend on the hotel's owner, so it's hard to criticize him.

Very good location of the hotel. The owner - really kind and helpful, we could count on him. The apartment's composition was convenient (in fact there were two separate sleeping rooms, which was very useful, as there were four of us). The hotel seems to be under some refurbishment process (e.g. some devices/furniture are new, some not). This may not meet the expectations of some guests, but we saw attempts of making improvements there. Besides the price was really user-friendly!

I made the reservation through Booking and paid in advance, but when I arrived, the person who assisted me said that the room I reserved was unavailable and that I would have to pay extra for an upgrade. I paid because I didn't want to sleep in my car, but this is a breach of contract.

The house is intriguing, a 19th-century building with high ceilings.

No elevator to the upper floors, not clean, especially the dishes in the kitchen. Although we sent a message and informed that we were late and arrived only one hour late, we were required to pay 12 euros (it was written in booking but we informed that we would be late and specified exactly when we would arrive and why we were delayed). Couldn't communicate, didn't speak English. quite disappointing.

Unfortunately we had a rather bad experience from start to finish. We booked a bigger apartment for a reason and when someone pays for a bigger apartment it's not nice to be told on arrival that we don't need it and that the apartment was allocated to another family and they didn't have another one. We were then offered a choice of a triple room with not kitchenette (much, much smaller) or two double room (ok in size but wouldn't work for us). There was no kitchenette, we were allowed to use the hotel's kitchenette, it worked but not convenient. We only moved to the apartment for a second week. The biggest issue was that there was simply no hot water in the evenings, not enough for a shower for even one person, let alone a family. We raised it with the host but he blamed the boilers' capacity and "guests are using it wrongly". Really frustrating not to be able to shower or having to do it with a cold water - healthy perhaps but thoroughly unpleasant. The rooms were also not cleaned inside. I don't mind cleaning my rooms myself but there was not even a brush to do so. No iron even to borrow from a reception even though on the booking.com it clearly states in the list of facilities that iron and ironing facilities are present; no laundry facilities either. There was a soap and shampoo sachets on arrival (and when we moved to the apartment for the second week) but it was not replenished during the stay even once. The room is advertised with a hot tub (which was in the triple room, not the apartment) but of course, due to lack of hot water this really was just a decoration. The beds mattresses and bed lines were really old as well.

The interior of the hotel outside of rooms is very nicely decorated, and the outside was clean. The breakfast area had a pleasant music and was nice as well. The location is excellent.

There was a problem and the owner took us to a different location, he said we would have breakfast as compensation.But the place he took us too seemed like was closed for renovations, so they were unable to give us breakfast. The shower also over flowed.

We didn't stay at the location but at the new location there was a nice restaurant nearby.The beds were comfortable and the room was a good size.

You can check in only until 18, if you come later there is no one at the reception and you have to pay a 300 cz kr fine because someone has to come and let you in.
