Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The location of this hotel was perfect, we saw all tourist attractions by foot and didn’t use public transport at all. Breakfast was good with a good variety of foods, rooms were spacious and we had 2 bathrooms for a family of 4.. was exceptional! Highly recommended to anyone staying in Prague

HungaryThe hotel offers parking, but it is quite far away. Reception is closing after 7PM, but self check in is possible. The wellness was under renovation, which was not mentioned during booking.
Authentic building close to the city center. The room is nice and big with comfortable bed. Cleanliness is good. Stuff is helpful, when available.

The hotel's location is perfect for easy access to Prague City. Additionally, the breakfast is delightful, featuring fresh, healthy, and delicious options.

I travel very often and this is the only place with this kind of requirements. No water bottles or coffees at the rooms.
The hotel is beautiful, well located, the breakfast is delicious, they have a lot of options. The room was big and super comfortable. I had a view to the museum, just wonderful.

UkraineNo way to stop an auto close to the hotel to bring the luggage, parking place suggested was 300+m from the hotel and extremely expensive. Unfortunately we had not found other reasonable options to park in this area and had to pay 52 euro for 2 nights. The street where the hotel is located is pretty noisy, but they provide earplugs for sensitive guests.
Good location, very close to Wenceslas Square and main station. We did not have to use public transportation at all to explore all the sightseen. The room was clean, had fridge and air conditioning, the bed was comfortable. The breakfast had sufficient variety and the food was good. There was always what to choose.

ItalyExcellent value for money. A comfortable hotel with very reasonable prices in the downtown area. The room was comfortable and spacious, the breakfast more than generous and delicious. The hotel has no parking of its own, but there is a sister hotel just around the corner where parking is available at a reasonable rate. The staff was friendly and helpful. The reception is closed between 7pm and 7am, but again, the sister hotel has a 24/7 reception, and they are happy to help. The hotel is just around the corner from the magnificent Natural History Museum, which is a great plus.
