My room had a street window and it was a bit noisy at times, not too much. Also, please note it is 15 min walk from downtown atractions.

The hosts were really nice and my room was very comfortable and clean. They clean everything very well every day. The shared areas were very well equipped.

Had some trouble with getting the attention of the host on arrival- had to ring the gate bell a number of times before being answered ,perhaps forgivable since I arrived slightly than e mailed.

Room and facilities met my expectations, but would have liked a tv (not disappointed as it did not feature in the facilities)

Franzouska (the street) has a bad reputation, which is mostly due to the past. However some of the locals advise against going there alone in the nighttime. No argument against the pension, but something you might want to consider.

Charming rooms in a nicely decorated pension. The innkeeper is polite and helpful. It is something for people on a budget, but provides you with everything you need. Absolute perfect price/performance ratio.

The windows opened to the courtyard, and it was a large window with no stopper - large enough for a full grown-man to enter/exit the room from/to the courtyard. This meant that I had to close the window the whole time.

Reasonable room for the price, with adequate amenities. Reception lady was friendly and tried her best to speak a bit of English.

The location is perfect, 15 minutes walk to the center. The hostess is friendly and allowed to leave things for a while. The kitchen is well-equipped. I recommend for both short and long term stays.

The water pressure of the shower was a little low.

Spacey apartment, around 10 mins from the center. Parking was easy in front of the building. Despite being a central location, it was very quiet at nights. Would book it again in the future.

Exceptionally clean, spacious, warm and comfortable accommodation. Shared kitchen was well equipped. Conveniently located a 15-20 mins walk to the city centre. Helpful and pleasant staff. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Too hot in the room - no fan or air conditioning. Loud phone conversations from the room next door kept me awake.

Having to manually lock the door every single time is a hassle and is loud at night, and I feel could be easily rectified with a relatively simple lock change.

I loved staying here, it's amazing value and the building is really lovely! The owner was really sweet, although didn't really speak English, we spoke in (limited) Czech but she could have made it work in English. It was clean, cheap, and amazingly well located. Ignore all the crap about it being in a dodgy neighbourhood, it's a completely standard area and perfectly safe.

Only the fact that we were in 3 people and they only gave us one key. And Not enough socket to charge phone for example.
