Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

PolandNoise from the street and the sound of water from above at night. Good to have ear plugs. But to be honest second night I stopped paying attention to it.
Amazing, old house with very comfortable temperature during hot summer days. 5 minutes to all atractions. Very nice bar with breakfast 2 minutes away with 15% discount. Parking place for free.

IrelandSome coffee making facilities would have been welcome. However the owner runs a nearby cafe that is open from 10am. In the summer it might seem a little dark as there is only one very small window. It didn't bother me during a two night winter stay as I was really only there to sleep. A very minor point but there is no shower cubicle, so you have to use the bath (which has a shower attachment, albeit a bit fiddly to use without spraying water all over the apartment)
Petr met me at the door and gave me a friendly welcome. The apartment is a small basement/cellar, but it has been very comfortably converted and is warm and dry. It felt cosy and the bed is super comfortable. He is pretty on it with the payment, I had to go immediately to the nearest cashpoint and withdraw sufficient CZK to pay him there and then (he was also willing to accept EUR but I had forgotten that I needed cash).

SlovakiaThe host/owner was super friendly and came out personally to hand us the keys. He recommended some great places to eat and visit in the town. The property is located in the city center so everything is within walking distance. The room was spacious, clean, and decorated in a very unique style :) Overall, we were very pleased.

United StatesThe biggest issue with the apartment was the bed. We'd been warned that hard beds are not uncommon in Europe, and the bed here fit the stereotype. That said, our continued travels proved that hard beds are not universal. Unfortunately, for me that meant exacerbating pain from my replaced hips.
Super friendly host at an amazing location. The pictures indicated that this apartment had character, and so it did. Beautiful, and right next to the town center and castle.

DenmarkTo pay in cash (EUR) seems very old fashioned and adds transaction cost for the guest, when you arrive from a country with is almost cash less and dont use the euro. All cash withdrawals in foreign currency adds fees.
Location cannot be better in Mikulov. Everything is minutes away when walking. The building has a very rustic historic charm, which a hotel cannot compete with. Private parking in provided nearby.
