To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

GermanyI use laptop on the only table in the room. I couldn’t find electric plug nearby that I had to plug the power behind the TV. So every time I went to toilet/bed I needed to bend my body under the power line to cross.
Easy to travel to other places. Lots of restaurants and cafe nearby. Very clean and spacious room.

SingaporeThe apartment is located on the main road, so can hear some vehicular traffic, not too loud but might affect a light sleeper. There is only one elevator and the switch is not responsive. The pillows were very soft and odd size, but comfortable. The address maybe difficult to identify for first time visitors as the only sign board is very inconspicuous and can be easily missed.
Convenient location, clean room and bed. The front desk was available and was helpful. The room was also cleaned according to the schedule. It is well connected to the IP Pavlova metro station. It is value for money but not much to expect beyond that.

Czech RepublicThe breakfast could start a little earlier. It usually stars from 8. But an early breakfast was kindly arranged for us on request around 7:45 am by the kind receptionist and breakfast staff (as we had a 5-day training nearby in Faculty of Medicine from 8 am). A dishwashing bar could be offered in larger shared apartments.
We liked the daily cleaning service of our shared apartment (by 4 people) and the amenities, utensils in the kitchen were great. It was a pleasure to cook. Besides, toiletries, soap, and dishwashing gel was plenty. Television and safe locker were also there.

GreeceThe room was big enough for a couple. It had its own kitchen. The bathroom was also big and very clean. The bed was comfortable. In general, even though the room was next to a main road, it was very quiet, very warm, and had a great view from the windows. We had to use the tram to get to the old town since the room was a little further, but the tram was very convenient. The breakfast was not in our package. You had the option to add it for 8 euro per person per day. We had the chance to take a look first, but we were not that impressed. However, there were options. Veronica at the reception desk was really friendly and helpful.
