When we first went to the property, one of the other guests told us thatthey hdad no space and were fully booked.

The reception went above and beyond, in helping with any requests. They booked spa treatments, offered perfect restaurant recommendations and gvave excellent guidance on crystal factory tours. The breafast was a buffet style, with freshly baked bread and, again, reception were there, on hand, for any questions or requests.

Unfortunately our view looked back towards the stairs, and the curtains did not block the morning lights but these are just little inconveniences.

Really beautiful hotel from the outside as well as from the inside next to the river near the city center. The staff is kind and helpful, at first our room could not be occupied due to some maintanence problems and since it was the last room in this hotel they booked a room for us in another hotel across the street, but somehow they managed to do the reparation before we arrived and informed us. It was a huge luck since our room was like in a palace, blue walls with blue rolyal carpets a white-golden bed with canopy and chandeliers just like in a fairytale.

Breakfast could be a little more creative. The double rooms are a bit small, but that's how the architecture of these buildings is - not the fault of the hotel.

LOCATION: the hotel is perfectly located, in a beautiful building by the river, right in the old town. There are restaurants and shops even 20m away and the promenade of the old town is 5 min away. STAFF: The staff is extremely nice, ready to solve any problem or request. They even sent us a message after we left, everyone was very nice. FACILITIES: the rooms are equipped with the things you need as a tourist, are clean and are also pet friendly. Breakfast is included, both cold an warm dishes. PARKING: this may be a problem in Karlovy Vary. The hotel has a few places available for 15 euro/night, but we didn't catch any. We parked in a parking by the river, 7 min away from the hotel. It was free during the night and costed 10 euro/day, all very safe.

Internet was not working (they had an outage at the time of our stay) Floor of shower corner was not installed properly We asked for 2 sepparate beds, that i mentioned even at custom wishes, the actual two single beds were connected into 1 big one. We had to sepparate them ourself Leate breakfest starting at 8:00 No free parking around. All of negatives are very minor issues, overal it is great hotel.

Ludvik, the good soul of the hotel!! He is the best host, and entertainer, I have met in the past 7 month non-stop travelling!! He is always in good spirit, and super helpful I loved the old wooden floor crackling noise when walking around. A very charming hotel right in the centre of Karlovy Vary. All clean, good breakfast, confortable quiet room.

The only thing I can point out that the room had a kitchen with a kettle and glasses but no tea or coffee in the room and if you want to drink in your room after the reception is closing, you can't.

Basically - everything. The building is beautiful, the room was big with an amazing view. The owner, Ludwig, was really nice and helpful and really made our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Breakfast is excellent, lots of choices and everything is fresh! The street is quiet and nothing disturbed our sleep. Location is great! 20 minutes walk to train\bus main station, 3 minutes walk to Diana cable car and 5 minutes walk to almost all the springs. Lots of café and restaurant nearby with many different food choices. This hotel was really a great choice and I will recommend it to friends and family for their visit to Karlovy Vary

The photos. I had some anxiety about what the room would be like as the photos are dreary and outdated. I can promise you it is a lot prettier than that. We had a kitchen but the supplies were lacking. There wasn't utensils or plates just a pot, a pan, one cup, and one mug. Not a big deal as we were out and about all day.

We booked the apartment and it exceeded our expectations. Have you watched Last Holiday with Queen Latifa? Remember the hotel? Well the balcony (attached to bedroom and living room) has the best view of that resort right over the river! The room is HUGE, the bed is comfortable, and the shower or bath option was perfect as me and my fiancé prefer different options. A note to tourists who are not here for just spas. This hotel is a minute walk to the Diana Funicular. We went for a walk up Slovenska, to Friedrich Schiller Monument, up into the hills for multiple towers, sights, and views then went back home via the Diana Funicular to save our knees and shins. It was a great use of our day. The staff here are incredible, especially the gentleman working on the day we left. Thank you.

The room needed some renovations/repairs - e.g. the shower floor had some cracks that were temporarily "repaired" with silicone. The mattresses, though still fairly comfortable, could be replaced.

Nice hotel located in the spa district of Karlovy Vary, very close to all the main attractions. Hotel located in beautiful historical building. The room was spacious and fairly well kept, equipped with a safe and mini-fridge. Friendly staff. Tasty breakfast.

The hotel closes at 19:00 (you get a key to open it), so if there is something missing in your room (in my case - toilet paper) it's hard to get it immediately. Wi-fi signal is not strong.

A wonderful hotel that has a bit of Karlovy Vary luxury feel, but that is low cost. You get a really nice room. It's worth paying extra for breakfast.
