The bed was comfortable enough for a one night stay, but very hard.

Very welcoming family owned place. Everything is very clean and nicely decorated outside. The room was very simple, but had everything we needed, including a hot shower with good pressure. Breakfast was excellent, and served by a very hospitable staff. Lots of simple food options to walk to.

Personable service from the family that runs and operated this nice hotel.They genuinely make you feel special.Reasonable price for room which include breakfast.Dinner meals were very tasteful and generous portions at a reasonable price 10 dollars.Took me to the airport at a reasonable price and even though I left early in the morning at 5:45 she made me breakfast.I would definitely stay here again.

The family and staff. Everyone was so helpful and so warm. I love the mom of the hotel, and Emanuel was really really helpful. Breakfast included was delicious. Room is big and airy. Nice AC, which is very important in Costa Rica lol

Staff are friendly and everyone was so kind. Coffee was nice and strong and breakfast and they were able to accommodate my shuttle request changes to the airport. Room had air con and a fan for white noise. Provided shampoo which was nice too. This was my first hotel with a TV so that was nice after 5 weeks of travel.

The room was quite small, and unfortunately, the roosters behind the hotel were noisy throughout the night. I’ve been told they are a recent addition, so hopefully, they won’t be a permanent problem.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at this wonderful family-run establishment, and it was truly fantastic. The food was fresh, delicious, and offered a variety of options to start the day perfectly. What stood out even more was the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The room was advertised for 5 people, and we needed to pay an extra $60 for two of our children. I appreciated that a 6th person was accommodated, but was surprised to need to pay extra for BOTH the 5th and 6th person (for one night). This made this hotel one of the most expensive ones we stayed at during this 13-day trip.

The friendliest staff ever and the best "gallo pinto" breakfast we had in Costa Rica in 13 days! Lots of safety features in the location, and they had a room big enough for our large family of 6 (4 kids), which is rare in Costa Rica. The family room was comfortable with A/C, a fridge, and a TV, which served our needs. There were some outdoor activities on the property for kids and families, including foosball, a trampoline, and a basketball game. Location was next to a grocery store and an inexpensive pizzaria.

I wish hotel like this one would have even a homemade map showing how many blocks and the direction to stores and resturants. They did tell me about the tiny convenience store close by but not the larger stores and bakeries just a few blocks away

The walk into the center of town was about 20 minutes and on typical Costa Rican sidewalks—uneven, broken, nonexistent. If you’re on foot and have mobility issues, this would be a problem.
