It will be nice if property has more mirrors, better window curtains (a lot of windows without curtains, plus principal door curtains were small than real size, we felt without full privacy), real sofa for the living room. Poor WiFi.

Nothing really, the only tip for the travellers is the fact that it’s quite secluded (which is an advantage!) so you will need the car to get around - around 20 min drive from a Shiite National Park and around 10 min from the center of Puerto Viejo.

The place is lovely, the staff is very nice and helpful, the whole place is located in a quiet area, the garden is very beautiful and well-kempt. The rooms are clean and quite big. We highly recommend staying there while in Puerto Viejo!

The only thing I would say let it down was the location as it is about a 30 minute walk to the town but it is a retreat so I understand it is meant to be secluded and it only cost us $5 dollars in a cab so wasn’t a major issue.

The property is lovely, the rooms, the staff, the pool, the lounging area and the dogs!!! There is a kitchen with a fridge you can put your stuff in and a water refill which was great for us as we hadn’t stayed anywhere in Costa Rica that had that.

The yoga sessions cost $15, which we weren't told about until we checked out and were asked to pay. Note that the road to the property is not a smooth road, so cycling and even driving can be bumpy! The communication from the property said that towels would not be changed and we should not pick flowers due to sustainable practices, but the staff picked flowers for the breakfasts and left them in the room all the time, and the towels were changed every day regardless of where we put them; we had to request for no new towels directly.

The property is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and very clean; the air con is amazing after a long day at the beach! The pool is incredible and the breakfast options were delicious. WiFi was perfect. There was a virus going around while we stayed and it was the perfect place to be while sick - cool, quiet, relaxing!

The location was biking distance from downtown and a bit of a walk w/o transpo but not bad.

I have found that the pictures or descriptions are generally less than than how they were described. This time, we were happily surprised to find that the Sonora really was as they described it. We really enjoyed being there.

I missed some yoga sessions, but I enjoyed on my own, matts were provided… obviously place is not only for yoga retreats what makes it good option for everyone. As mentioned in other reviews, its out of the town, its in the jungle what makes amazing atmosphere, however I recommend a car for transfers

It was just a paradise. We got a great deal through booking so it was really good price. Place is so beautiful, the garden is amazing, pool, resting areas, we got a studio which is the best room option and it is spacious with terrace, daylight, I can not describe it properly, its a Pure heaven :) we got very good breakfast, we could stay few more hours after check out…

The resort is located a bit outside of Puerto Viejo so a transport is necessary to be able to move around as there is nothing close to the resort.

Bungalows are spacious, clean and confortable! The overall resort is beautiful. Breakfast is good but maybe a bit light. Wifi worked well in the room. Owners and staff were nice and helpful.

Being in the jungle at a family run retreat is noteworthy. The staff and the breakfast provided is exceptional. We really liked the friendly dogs greeting the guests. Muchas gracias.
