The cabins are super cute and clean. Bed was comfy. Toilets and showers were great and also very clean!

Everything was fine.

Stayed at the dorm, every bed had a personal light and fan. Dorm, bathroom and common areas were all clean. Good value for a cheap price. Staff was nice and helpfull.

In the evening was set a time from which it should be still. But this meant as well that the kitchen and the only and outside common room was closed and you almost had to go do bed. Which was for us really strange. In the morning it was reopens, only to late to catch the bus am 6 a.m. In the dorm room it was always so hot even with the windows open and ventilators on because there isn't an AC.

The kitchen was perfectly equipped and had good system. To each bed in the dorm was a fan and a little light. The bathroom and to shower was new and in perfect condition.

I loved the name to begin with. As expected it was tranquil. nestled in a lil spot of paradise. With designated areas to appeal to all. without imposing on one and other. Large well stocked community kitchen. The hobbit looking cabins; are amazing! Although we did not stay in one on this trip. We had a beautiful private room, with hammocks outside sliding doors. The shower is INCREDIBLE, large rainwater shower with hot water, something we only found in costly hotels in Costa Rica. I would defiantly recommend to any type of travelers. Also 5 minute walk to white sand beach and 20 if that to the black sand beach!

8-bed dorm a bit tight with bunk beds near one another. Kitchen only open from 7am-9:30pm, making it inconvenient for an earlier start. A fan or two in the dining area would also be nice to help with the summer high heat and humidity.

Great location, few minutes walk to Cahuita National Park entrance, bus terminal and grocery store. Playa Negra is 20-25 minutes walk. Roomy toilet and shower in the room.

Friendly staff but not able to make decisions on the spot.

Room was very cozy and comfortable. . Beautiful garden. Spacious kitchen. Nice dinner tables to seat outside. You got to see animals around the place all the time. Close to the bus station, pharmacy, restaurants and supermarkets.

1 Very friendly staff. We arrived at 7am in the morning. They allowed us to drop our bags and put our food in the fridge so we could go on to enjoy the national park. 2 Room is very clean, drying rack and umbrella was provided. Beds were very comfortable. Fans were provided to every bed. 3 Hot shower. Shower room was equipped well too. 4 Shared kitchen was nice , clean and organised well. 5 2 min walking to the entrance of the national park. Overall, very happy stay. Highly recommend !

Perfect location and incredible chill enviroment - beautifull common spaces. Hammocks, lots of green and evening lights make holiday atmosphere. I met many inspirative people. Slots living around are also incredible experience. Receptionist has basic english but I really apreciate much that they always were open to help us using traslator with beautifull smile on face :) Pura Vida. Thnks much u made my staying in Cahuita - wonderfull !!!

The kitchen was small and often crowded but with excellent cafes and restaurants and a very good supermarket close by we didn’t need to use it. It was difficult to cool the room.

The barrels are absolutely cute and the beds are very comfortable. Although there’s not a lot of space inside, each barrel has a covered terrace with a table and chairs and a clothes drying rack. The shared bathrooms were excellent.

Very beautiful laid-back place, a few steps from the national park and the bus terminal. I slept in one of the cozy pods (upstairs), which I would really recommend. It has a comfortable bed, a nice terrace and a laundry rack. Monkeys all over the place (be careful they don't steal your laundry). Everything was kept really clean, all the time. The shower was great! Staff is friendly, mainly Spanish speaking (so Google translate is your friend if you have any questions). Check-out is from 8AM, but if you need to leave earlier that's not a problem. I booked an extra night because I liked it so much.

Lovely people, great place! They took care of everything, eventhough nog everything was perfect it had a lot of atmosphere! Staff is very friendly and willing to help. With 1 min walk of the main road and Cahuita park, which is great!
