One thing that is good to know is that they only take cash for payment.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The pool area is beautiful, and the breakfast was a highlight of the stay. I recommend booking excursions through the hotel as well, specifically the Baldi Hot Springs. Great location - we brought a car, but were able to walk done to a Soda for dinner. I would stay again and recommend for others!

The rooms were very nice and clean, with a mini fridge, good places for storage and very comfortable beds. The pool was a perfect temperature and a great place to relax. The grounds are well maintained and had a beautiful maze of walking paths for wandering. Elizabeth is funny and very informative, willing to help with anything.

The best hotel we’ve been in Costa Rica! Full of nature around and with a breathtaking volcano’s view, this place made our experience in La Fortuna even more amazing. Everything was very clean and spacious, with a great balcony facing the gardens and the volcano. The staff is super sweet and helpful, always smiling and willing to help.

I think maybe, maybe the only thing was the door to the bathroom was loud and squeaky...nor was the bathroom air conditioned....but really didn't prevent us from enjoying the location.

We thought the service was great! Great location to the area, Great food, Great accommodation's! We loved the wildlife walking/free roaming the property and what a view of the volcano!

The game room was the best I have ever seen at hotel. Shuffleboard, pool, foosball and ping pong. We were traveling with an 11 year old who was entertained for hours. The pool and hot tub were lovely. The staff were funny, nice and accomodating.

Great hotel on the edge of La Fortuna. Modern, clean and spacious rooms with a lovely terrace and view of the volcano. The gardens are beautiful with birds all around. There was a convenient parking space outside the room. Pool area was nice too. I liked the room fridge and there is a good selection of places to eat and shop on the doorstep.

We truly enjoyed our stay here but one suggestion would be to add ceiling fans in the rooms and even out on the front porches of the bungalows for extra comfort in the heat. Especially if/when the power goes out occasionally.
