We would have liked access to beach towels for use on the beach. Because we were flying, we had limited space in our luggage to pack those. We would have been happy to rent or pay a deposit.

We enjoyed the friendly staff, the comfortable bed, and the updated, clean, quiet room on the main floor. The beautiful beach was just a few minutes walk away. Three or four restaurants were within walking distance or a short drive from the hotel. The breakfast was fresh and good, and although we did not eat other meals in the restaurant, the food looked authentic and delicious.

Night lamps in the room are too old, poor lighting in the bathroom, that's it. The rest is all good.

Comfortable rooms, ample spaces, good parking, close to the beach, a very nice beach, nice breakfast, amicable staff, easy to access rooms.

Rooms and property are dated. They just need some attention. I didn’t like the cat being in the dining room. Also a raccoon ran through while having breakfast.

Staff was amazing. They went above and beyond to be helpful. Pool was wonderful and the location worked perfect for us. The breakfast was nice and unexpected. Lovely fresh fruit. Great value for the area.

Entering the shower requires extra care since it is a tub and you need to be careful to avoid any risk of falling during in/out

The staff was very kind and helpful with recommendations in the area. The rooms were very spacious with working AC. The beds were also very comfortable. My personal highlight was the breakfast and the pool. Breakfast every morning was delicious! It included fresh fruit, 1 entree, and our choice of orange juice or coffee. It was very relaxing to come out and not have to worry about breakfast at the start of the day. The pool was pretty big and deep (careful with the kiddos), but did have a shallow part that was separate that kids could play in.

The facilities need some refresh. Nothing major, but getting a little tattered in a few spots.

the safe in the room was really small, the pool a little small - but the ocean is right there!

wonderful location right by a secluded beach, with wildlife (monkeys, iguanas, cows, plenty of birds) right on your doorstep!

The room. The layout is terrible. You have to cross all the room twice to reach the bathroom. Bathroom layout is strange and dangerous. Not very friendly with disabled people or elders

The room was incredibly dark!! We had to switch on all the lights even in the most shiny day.

The breakfast is prepared for you, you can choose from 5 options (even though they are all similar). Delicious pancakes!!

only 1 restaurant, the "soda" near the highway, would have been nice with more choice. but hotel restaurant fine, maybe a little expensive. hotel breakfast (incl in room price) very good. also many books available in "library"

all went well. hotel in a quiet location, several others nearby, plus gated condo community for San Jose weekenders up the road. small problem for bus passenger arrivals, no shuttle to hotel. but only a 10 minute walk , so not really a deal-breaker. restaurant and liquor store near highway, good food available at reasonable price. hotel rooms have mini-fridges so a cold beer always nice. pool decent size, loungers fine, pool towels available. staff really helpful,

The bathroom is outdated and poorly ventilated. Nowhere to hang wet clothes.

Nice clean secluded hotel, good to stay for a few days. Friendly staff, good breakfast. Was nice to watch hummingbirds, lots of macaws flying around, and other representatives of the local fauna while sitting in the swimming pool. The road to the hotel is good for any type car. Good restaurant on site, and a few more at ~1km in the city.

An elecric kettles or a coffee maker would de useful in the room

Very kind staff. Ideal for families. The beach is 50 m away. The pool is clean and at nice temp. Breakfast is very good, so is the restaurant.
