Cabin needed more insulation as it was very damp and cold at night during September when it rains so take some warm PJs.

Locaton was great! Grounds were beautiful and very well maintained especially the green houses. Surronded by nature and animals thta we saw every day. Cabins were well equipped especially the fire place and they provided plenty of wood for it which you will need to stay warm. Staff were very helpful, felt like home away from home!

The premises are very well looked after. Kind staff, easy check-in and check-out. Comfortable bed , good shower, spacious cabin with the fireplace with ample of wood to burn. Parking , little trails on the premises with lots of birds , coatis and agutis. We have enjoyed ourselves very much.

Could do with more comfortable sofa and some way of drying clothes as they did not dry properly on the line.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Cottage was large and the grounds were interesting and well maintained. Wildlife: agouti and mono Cara blanco next to cottage as well as wonderful birds. Close to Monteverde and Santa Elana - walking distance of restaurants.

Be ready for all sorts of nature, including a big spider in your room or random flying bugs showing up on the floor in the morning.

We saw a lot of wildlife. It was quiet and clean. The staff was responsive when I needed something.

We did not like our cabin, number 9. We were hoping for a quiet secluded cabin, but nearby was another cabin that we could see and hear. Also, we heard road noise constantly because we were nearby a busy road.

The location was convenient because it was close to, Selvatura Park where we got to see sloth, butterfly garden, and zip line. The park is great! The cabin was clean and they were great about coming in to replace our towels and take out our garbage. We did enjoy seeing some wildlife.

The sofas smell bad. They are mildewy from the damp weather.

We love the hammock out front, the small kitchen with all you need, and that they have cabins with 2 and 3 bedrooms for larger families. But our favorite part is seeing all of the animals in the morning and afternoons. We saw pizotes and guatusas and tons of birds.

I honestly couldn't think of anything I didn't like.

The first impression on entering our cabin was luxury. We stayed in cabin 16 which was huge with a very spacious living space and kitchen area. Windows were everywhere giving us beautiful views directly into the forest. The cabin was spotless. The bed was enormous and very comfortable. Staff were very helpful. 0

We loved the cabin #7 deluxe family. The setting was tranquil and a cute animal came by to greet us. We enjoyed walking the property and seeing the garden. Location is excellent, cabins are clean and well equiped, and staff is welcoming. we'll definintely stay here next time we are in Monteverde!

Nothing. Everything was as expected if not better.

Receptionist greeted us with a smile and warm attitude, despite us having arrived late at night. He gave us recommendations for restaurants, explained the layout of the hotel, and guided us to the room himself because it was dark out and he didn’t want us to get lost. The room itself was clean, well equipped, had a nice deck with a hammock, and lastly the water pressure from the shower head was exceptional.
