Not much. The only thing I can mention is the nearest grocery store is a walk.

The host were incredibly nice and caring. You could tell they were personally invested and cared deeply about the property. The yard and house was well maintained with interesting flora. Location is nice, by the beach yet secluded and quiet.

Absolutely nothing

Everything was super perfect. That little house was very charming. The kitchen well equipped. The location amazing, close to the beach. In the morning you hear the monkeys. The owner are the sweetest people and very helpful… every second day is a cleaning lady coming… we definitely will go back there during our next travel

Nothing, it was perfect.

Casa Marcellino is a peaceful oasis in the beautiful town of Cahuita. The most beautiful tropical garden where you can observe lots of birds and some other wildlife. The cabinas are spacious, clean and very comfortable. The lodge has an excellent location close to playa negra and the town centre. Luciano was very welcoming and accommodating. He gave us a map of Cahuita and explained to us where everything was. We truly had the best time and would love to come back. Our only regret is to not have stayed longer!

Everything was perfect, absolutely no complaints!

The property has been beautifully landscaped and is so well taken care of. Gorgeous shrubs and trees that are well established and flowering all the time. It was quiet and felt so safe and secure. The owners are so friendly, and greeted us with fresh coconuts. All the staff are warm and kind, the gardener and housekeepers were so happy and full of smiles. Every time our cabin was cleaned housekeeping would put fresh flowers around our cabin, and it was such a wonderful touch. So close (3 minutes) to two beaches and restaurants, and a short walk into the cute little town.

It was a wee bit cramped. I wish the bathroom was smaller and kitchen bigger.

Loved the gardens and the fact that this place was not made of concrete. The hosts were friendly and very welcoming. Loved the outdoor shower and sink for washing off the sand from the beach. Very private even between the units.

Great location- close enough to town but far away from the bars/noise, etc. Playa Negra only 200 meters away. Quiet, serene, and beautiful grounds. Owners are very friendly and helpful. They kindly welcomed us when we arrived and saw us off upon departure. They were always available and attentive to our needs, questions, etc. Housekeeper is a sweetheart. Good sized room, spacious outdoor deck, all very comfortable and clean. Fully stocked full kitchen was perfect for us and our needs.

Great location off the beaten path so it was quiet, but only 5 minutes to town and beach. Gardens and porch on front of casita just oozed calm and peace. Luciano and staff were helpful and kind. a perfect 3 days for my family.

Beatiful property surrounded by lovely gardens which bring freshness and attract birds. The house is charming, with a well equipped kitchen, everything is pristine clean and very comfy. The location couldn’t be better, is just a few steps from the beach but secluded enough to be calm and silent.

The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully presented with flowers placed all around the apartment. Marice and her staff made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to help if they were asked anything. They even helped us find somewhere that would replace a tyre on our rental vehicle. The beautiful beach is just a short stroll down a narrow road. The grounds had loads of birds and wild life that we could view from our balcony. I would love to stay here again.

Great choice for a family of 4. It was our last stay traveling through Costa Rica and it was perfect. wNice garden, short walk to the beach, which is beautiful (Playa Negra) and offers a lot of fun for kids. Short walk (15min) to the town.

Absolutely great reception upon arrival, especially considering the later than usual time. While the location was not ideal for the circumstances of the day for our family, its proximity to the beach was ideal. The property was very secure, clean, accommodating and inviting. Check in and check out was simple and as quoted. Overall, would recommend to others and would return if visiting the area.

We liked everything.

The house is very close to the beach, if you want only to swim, you don't have to settle down there just walk 50 meters, swim and come back to the beautiful garden. Yes, the house has very nice garden, with lots of birds and aguties in the morning. By the way there are bars and few resaurants in the nearby.

I have stayed at Casa Marcellino many times, as a local Costa Rican I can say it always feels like a home away from home. The houses have everything you need and the owners are lovely. The gardens are beautiful and location is walking distance from the beach and really close to the center of town, but far enough that you have complete peace. They are pet friendly and always treat my dogs with love.

Night walks to and from town in dark not great, but not too far.

Lovely complex with great security and nice family-run atmosphere. Close to beach. Short walk into town. Some wildlife come inside the compound, making it fascinating place to relax. Nearby national park, snorkelling and local tour guides were superb, arranged through Casa Marcellino.

Beautiful gardens and a lovely little house. Perfect location with only a few minutes walk to Playa Negra. 10 min walk to the city center. We only spent one night but it was lovely and both hosts were adorable

A little far from the center, but still very walkable!!

Everything!!! The hammock on the porch is my favorite part of the entire house. The bench in the porch also turn into a bench with a table, which is genius way to utilize the space. Though it’s on the smaller size for two-bedroom house, there is a big and comfortable bathroom and big bathtub, which is not very common in this part of the world. The kitchen is also very well-equipped with all the appliances you need to cook a good meal. There’s also a washing corner with washing sink and cloth line.
