Kitchen: Everything was greasy and dirty. No hot water in the kitchen that explains a lot ofcourse.

Beautiful garden. We saw green macaws and different toekans early in the morning. Food in restaurant is excellent. Good bed and pillows. Spacious. Quiet location. Friendly helpful hosts. Good price.

Wifi was very bad during my staying . Sometimes it didn't work at all . Also the bathroom nèed some fixing .

Very nice place with nice owners. The location was perfect for me - 3 k"m from the city center but in a beautiful place in nature near one of the beaches . It's a good place to explore nature, especially at night . They have also a good restaurant with good prices.

Everything. Especially the lovely staff. When we arrived they took the time to tell us everything we should know about the area (transportation, water, etc...). We ate a few times in the restaurant and the food was delicious.

Huge cabins with kitchen - and all necessary -, big table, two double beds with docel, warm shower, confortable varanda in the middle of nature and near the beach. The owners were just so friendly and helpful, really very nice and warm persons. The restaurant is also beautiful and the food delicious, fresh and tasty for dinner and breakfast. We are gonna come back in the future.

Coffee not provided, but that's fine 🙂. AC would be nice, but there are nets in all windows so we could keep them open.

Very nice host, made us a welcome smoothie and was very helpful. Very big room with wardrobes and fully equipped kitchen. Room cleaning every day. Sloths hanging in the street and aguti in the garden.

WiFi is poor

The Cabinas are in a big garden with a lot of wild animals walking by every now and then. It's far enough away from the restaurant, so you won't hear a thing. Staff is very nice and helpful.

This was our second stay at Cabinas Algebra, returning after 16 months. I was pleasantly surprised to see the water pressure in the shower was improved. Which, after our first stay, was my only complaint. Now I have no complaints. This property is excellent value. A beautiful paradise in nature, nearby to the beach. The mother and son owners take excellent care of their guests and the on-site restaurant is really good. Highly recommended! We will be back!

My only issue was how hot it could get. The fan helped a lot, but if you're a traveler who needs air conditioning, steer clear.

Room was clean. Location was close enough to everything, but not so close as to have heavy traffic. Hosts were above and beyond amazing. Breakfast was made fresh and tasty.

set in a beautiful garden in the jungle with the beach just over the road. It was quiet, very clean a great deck, great onsite restaurant and fabulous staff. You see birds and animals just when you’re sitting on you deck.

Everything was perfect

Our cabina was very comfortable and fully furnished with all equipements useful for our stay. The hosts are very nice and helpful. Their restaurant is also great, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was cool. This place is quiet and peaceful, and you can see animals in the garden ! Not to be missed if you stay a few days in Cahuita !

Loved everything about this place, I can't think of a single negative. Wish we could have stayed for longer.

Wonderful kind hosts, a beautiful garden full of wildlife. We saw giant crabs, poison dart frogs, agouti, sloths, many birds and colourful flowers. The restaurant is delicious and the whole place has a great atmosphere. Comfy beds, hammocks and well equipped kitchen. Very child friendly, quiet, clean and lots of fun. We loved it :-)

I loved my stay at Algebras. I enjoyed the gardens (saw lots of sloths). The location was good, near to the beach and a twenty minute walk to Cahuita centre. The restaurant was great, good, fresh food and the staff were wonderful. Thank you Andrea and Samuel.

Lovely family lodge in the middle of the jungle garden. Super friendly owners who were very easy friendly and helpful. The small cozy restaurant is super delicious. Nice food, bread and fruit shakes! We felt really at home. definitely book here again.

The toilet needs a new seat. The lid does not open properly, so we had to hold it when we sat and stand up. It's difficult to maneuver it. Also, there is no space to hang the wet towels. The shower was really hot and even though we adjust it, the water was burning hot.

I loved it. It's located in the middle of nowhere, so it's quiet and peaceful. The owner and staff are really friendly and the breakfast was good. I was able to hear the monkeys and see different types of birds. The beach access is very close.

Honestly what is there not to like? I booked last minute and showed up and was treated like family (but not the needy type 😏) I was only going to stay for the night, but the accommodations, location, and staff (which consisted of a lovely German family and extended local family) enticed me to stay a couple more days. (last minute even) They went out of their way to make it happen, and I did have to change rooms (because of my last minute choice) but the entire experience was awesome. the rooms (both of them were comfortable,clean, there was hot water and there was wildlife everywhere. I woke up and outside my door was a young sloth mulling about and feeding. Best Hotel yet. 2 months into a 4 month trip. Also it is very close to the park and I learned if you go to park from Chaulita side it is free. so saved me money.

Quiet location, the beach is near the cabinas. Food is homemade and tasty. And cherry on top of the cake: the hosts are great!
