The front desk staff were very helpful. The pool area was nice and relaxing and very clean. Short drive to town - it is on the opposite end of town from the volcano and hot springs but doesn't take long to to get there - 20 mins. Close to the Zipline.

The room shower. Extra instructions given but how to use it wasn’t the problem. It was the fluctuating water temperature.

Nowhere to hang wet clothes (either from a dip in the pool or from getting caught in a downpour!). Small outside (sheltered) space out front of our room, too much of a squeeze for 4 people to sit comfortably at the small table.

Large pool, with a great view of Volcan Arenal. Great breakfast, friendly and very helpful receptionist. Comfortable beds. Spacious bathroom and shower. Spotted blue jeans frogs in the grounds! Walking times approx 5 min to El Salto, 5 min to supermarket, 10-15 min to town, 10 min to Arenal Mundo for ziplining.

Nothing it was a brilliant start to our holiday would highly recommend. Bring flipflops to walk round pool tho as concrete is a little rough on the feet.

Grounds were stunning teaming with wildlife we saw toucans , Jesus Christ lizards and lots of lizards and birds. Breakfast was plentiful pool was always quiet and perfect for a dip after a long day out hiking. Room was spotless and toiletries provided. Kettle and pool towels provided for a deposit Location brilliant 500m for el salto swing and river and about 5 mins walk into La fortuna.

The bungalows are positioned right by the road, so it was very noisy.

The setting is lovely and the grounds are stunning with a view of the volcano from the pool area which is gorgeous. You’re an easy transfer from all tours.

The television had very bad reception. The picture was very grainy.

The cabins are basic but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and served in a covered pavilion where you could take in the natural environment. The grounds are beautiful with lots of plants and some wildlife. Just a 10 minute walk to the center of town.

There was not anything that I would do differently. It was all great!

The breakfast was wonderful!! Great food, coffee, and fresh juice. The hours for breakfast were good and the outdoor seating lovely.

Only thing I'd change is maybe adding a snack/pool bar open like 4-8:30pm (when the pool closes) - nothing major simple snack foods like fries, chip and gac, quesadillas, hamburgers maybe, all easy snacks and drinks just something for when you don't want to leave the property after a long day of adventures but need something more then chips

The breakfast and staff were amazing. Fresh juice was so good I'm going home and buying a juicer. Jackie at the front desk was amazing so helpful, kind and patient with my many questions. The property was beautiful, clean and the pool was so great. We also loved the little game room in the barn - brought back some family fun and good old competition

The WiFi was poor and kept dropping my phone constantly. I tried both WiFi channels, and both were bad. Breakfast was not very exciting, and the choices did not change except for the fruit offerings. The fruit was worse the second day than the first, and worse the third day than the second. Keep pineapples on the menu each day..

Location was close to the downtown. There were a few restaurants and grocery stores within a short walk. Rooms were small but well furnished, The staff members were helpful and friendly. The grounds were nicely landscaped with trees and tropical plants. There was a pool which seemed to attract a lot of the guests.

Having to grab an umbrella to go to the breakfast area? If there was a roof above the walkways , it would be even better. But that´s not a major issue. Just room for improvement

i had stayed at the same hotel many years ago and the rooms had noisy celing fans. This time around they have quiet A/C units instead and the rooms ceilings seems to have been elevated, if I recall correctly from that previous visit. Much better

Air conditioning was noicy, probably from the outdoor unit that made a strong humming noice through the wall (should probably be detached from the wall of the building). No hot water at the sink, only in the shower, difficult to wash sunglasses.

The staff, especially Jackie, were so lovely and welcoming! Jackie kept reception open late to welcome and was so kind and caring the entire stay. Rooms were cleaned every day, and the hotel is a 10 minute walk from the centre of La Fortuna. Breakfast was decent.

It’s a bit of a walk to town but not really a major issue.

Friendly staff who allowed us to check in before the official check in time. The breakfast was delicious and served in an open air space. The pool was great.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. First we were given a room that we absolutely did not like. The hotel employee assigned us a much better room for no extra charge

Location excellent within walking distance of local restaurant and La Fortuna for all amenities. The reakfast was adequate with all usual choices of eggs, toast, coffee and fruit juices etc.
