“Everything that previous reviews have said about this location are correct. You would be hard-push to find a more beautiful setting which although relatively close to the road, is completely hidden by vegetation. The owner's family has created this corner of paradise over a period of 40 years. They have created a series of pools and ponds supporting nature, particularly a variety of frogs. They have a small ecological vegetable garden behind the house. Below the terrace, separate from the house, hidden away they created a pavilion with five bedrooms. The only sounds you will hear are those of birds and frogs, the co owner was delightful and took us on a tour by night to spot rare varieties of amphibian. We were there during a spectacular thunderstorm. If you want to experience the real Costa Rica rural life, this is about as close as you can get.”
