We almost didn't stay here because of the negative reviews. We decided it was only one night and we could do one night. We were pleasantly surprised! I think it has been remodeled recently. Would definitely stay here again. The room and bathroom were very clean. The towels were white, not stained, and solt. Water pressure was good. Plenty of lights in the room. The room was quiet. We met friends for breakfast so didn't eat hotel breakfast.

Ice machine was out of order. Turning left out of the parking lot can be a problem. The bed was firm - too firm for me but my husband liked it.

Location was perfect and we were able to walk to all of our destinations. The only tour not in walking distance was Ft. Sumter. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were especially please with the young men helping with valet and holding our luggage. Steven and Will were so helpful.

The only drawback was the size of our bathroom. My husband is over 6 feet and it was not as spacious as he would have liked.

Everything was wonderful. The house was clean and comfortable, we had everything we needed, and we loved the fact that it was dog-friendly. Great location just minutes from downtown Helen.

Room was very dirty. The room had a horrible smell. All the furniture was scratched. Bedside table drawers were missing. Dresser drawers were missing First room we had had a broken door handle so we couldn't get into the room. Second room we had. The toilet seat was up and had urine in it DISGUSTING!!! Lobby was shabby and dirty. The washers and dryers were behind the check in desk and were running. Not pleasant. People coming in and out constantly and we couldn't tell if guests or employees and they were very "tough looking". Terrible hotel. Should taken off Booking. Com.
