The owner was very welcoming, polite and extremely helpful. He was always on hand to help with any questions. Currently adding extra bedrooms and a breakfast area which will be finished in 2 years. Nice quiet location, about 20-25 minutes walk to the lake. 40-45 minutes walk to Vintgar Gorge. My room was fine for one person, however, I wouldn't have booked this one had I been taller (I am 5ft 6"), as there was a sloping roof. The view from it was amazing though. Fab bed and shower! Small fridge which was ideal for the necessaties as well as a kettle. There were no wardrobes in my room but then was that such a big issue? There were several shelves which clothes could be hung from or placed. To be honest Lake Bled was a very casual place so there probably wasn't mch you would want to hang anyway. The hairdryer was a 'keep your finger on the button' one. I found it difficult to keep it going but was no big deal as it didn't really matter what I looked like tbh 😁.

Our stay at Scurek was one of the best we’ve ever had. It’s hard to put into words what made it so special but the surrounding location is breathtaking, the hosts were fabulous, friendly and helpful but not over bearing and the entire property has been newly renovated and finished to a high standard. You can tell the hosts (who own and run the property and winery) really value making sure guests have a good experience and the experience they themselves want. We were only meant to be staying for one night, but despite having accommodation booked in Ljublana we changed our plans so we could stay an extra night. Added bonus that the wine they produce is also very good!

This place is amazing – calm, quiet, comfortable. We spent only one night but we wished to stay longer – the amenities and location of this house are amazing. Very clean, very cozy, and modern. It has everything that you might need for living. The house has a wonderful terrace with incredible small river views. The hosts are very welcoming and warm people. Despite that we were driving very late – they waited and welcomed us with open heart. Many many thanks!

Large room, good location, nice breakfast. If you don't ask for your room to be cleaned you receive a voucher for free drinks in the hotel bar.

Issue with water pressure while we were there. Even once fixed the shower wasn't great. Can't control air conditioning temperature - it's set by the hotel - can only turn on or off.

The application for keys collecting and the whole set of rules was a challenge for me, in spite of my whole experience in digital services and travel. Would recommend to change that system.
