The location was super central only a few mins walk from all the shops and restaurants. The staff were accommodating and receptionist very friendly. The room was a fair size and with a good ensuit. The room was very clean and bathroom nice and modern. The room was bright and light and well equipped with a big tv.
Negative section of review
The mattress was memory foam which I found rather uncomfortable and gave me a sore back however this is personal preference. The duvet was two single duvets instead of one double for a double bed. There was air con in the room but no remote. When asked I was told they were waiting for the remotes to be sent out from the office. There are lovely big windows in the room however which open so not the end of the world.

Really loved the apartments, great location next to the lake and all facilities. Monica host was super helpful in providing with directions and arrangements for the room. Room was clean, airy and located in a peaceful environment. Would come back again to explore lake bled area. Thanks

The bed was comfortable and staff friendly. The hostel was generally quite clean and was located just on the outskirts of town. A nice ten minutes walk or so to the lake and tourist hot spots. Locker was provided to keep belongings safe.

There are only 2 bathrooms / showers for the whole hostel so can be a bit of a wait if it’s busy. I was in a mixed room although one of the nights I was the only female outnumbered by 5 men which was slightly uncomfortable. Ended up leaving after 2 nights when booked in for 4 as one of the men kept waking me up on several occasions as I was sleeping because of snoring. Was not very nice having some random guy that you don’t know that close with a torch in my face.

Clean and comfortable bed, like the privacy of the cabin even though it’s a hostel. Modern and very clean. The price is affordable too and there is good bus / transport links.

The kitchen facilities could be improved. The kettle and microwave both need replacing as you can tell they have been used repeatedly and show signs of wear and tear. One microwave for all the guests and kitchenette is very small. The fridge has non-system for naming / dating food and was crammed packed. The women’s shower area is right beside the communal couches and kitchen. Meaning if someone comes into the showeroom, everyone can see in. The cleaners washing machines was also in the ladies shower room area which meant in the mornings there is a lot of coming and going with the door being left open and not much privacy to get changed / washed.

The room is next to the train track. At night, the train passes by from time to time. The sound is so loud that I can hardly fall asleep. There is a performance venue in the same building, and there is a performance at night, which affects sleep. There is almost no network signal in the room, which is the worst experience in my 20-day trip. I am disappointed.
