We liked the rooms and having the option or getting two interconnecting rooms for our family (2 adults / 2 kids). The rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was big and ok, for some you can't eat gluten well and can't have regular milk, it was limited. The pools are great and the kids loved it. We learned that on fridays and saturdays they always have a sports/pool entertainer which was great and he included the children with water polo which everone loved.

We arrived early in the morning and spent the morning at pool until we could get to rooms but there were no towels at the pool for hours. It made it really hard to be at the pool; there was also no one to give us an indication on when towels would arrive or if towels could be put away for us. First load of towels were grabbed before we could even get to them. That situation continued for this day and the next. The pool area is large but no life guard or someone who makes sure rules are followed (drinks, kids, jumping) which I find questionable. The breakfast area does not cater for gluten intolerance; I understand that I can choose egg or meat, however generally people appreciate a gluten bread with separate toaster and/or gluten free section. Also the coffee area did not have anything else than regular milk which meant that I had to go and buy coffee with almond milk next door for 8$... I think one or two options of other milk would be nice. I imagined Singapore to be very clean and spotless, however walking along the beach there was a large oil spill which the people were trying to scoop up. The view from the pool is also straight onto two main oil storage areas with tankers going in and out all the time. I did not expect that; there was also no info by the hotel that it happened and what to expect when going to the beach area.

It was a lovely stay at Doe. Great location in the business area with a nearby MRT and Bus stop. The facilities were great, it felt like a mini apartment which is perfect and comfortable. The room is wide. Everything was really clean and staff were always helpful. The bathroom has a bidet/shafta which is an exteme plus point! I didn't spend time at the pool but it looked great when I passed by.

The breakfast options were limited especially for Halal/Vegetarian options, it would have been great if there were more options.

It was clean and taxi stand is right in front of the hotel. Staff was also nice and helpful.

Felt like it's priced a bit too much for a very basic hotel without any options for breakfast. Also, A/C in both rooms (310 and 311) are not working well. Considering we came on a rainy night, we never felt like we needed to use a blanket when sleeping as it was warm.

Our concern is the distance of bathroom from the room since its a shared bathroom, also the bunk bed from upper is kind of hard to go up especially if you are a big person need to be more careful in going up and down. The room temperature is also hot
