I loved the fact that it's a very new and modern construction — another block is being built right now — but one which does not link modernity to lavishness. It is built in a quickly expanding area, meaning some things around like roads or parts of the area are closed off, but I'm sure they are going to provide even more great facilities, and, most importantly, the center is only 1.5 km away! The area is also very bikeable and walkable, and being here really encouraged our group to explore the seemingly more local parts of the city on the other side of the bridge such as Jubilleumsparkeb and Keillers park. Overall, I love the idea of this kind of hotel and our group definitely enjoyed the spacious rooms and the interesting locale. The view of the canal right when I stepped out of the room every morning was like nothing I've ever experienced.

The rooms, while having great facilities for visitors such as dishwashers and washing machines, don't give the opportunity to fully utilise some of them. In our experience, laundry pods weren't provided, and since it seems wasteful to buy a minimum pack of 10 for a 4 night stay, we couldn't use the laundry machine. The app that is used to unlock rooms is very impressive, but can also be a bit buggy sometimes, and standing around for two minutes trying to unlock a room everyday can really add up if you're staying here long-term.

Including a complimentary breakfast was appreciated as it made getting ready for the day easy. The dining room was well stocked with all kind of food including juices, cold dishes and various types of bread.

wifi was slow or not responsive only one machine in the breakfast room that prepares expresso, cappuccino etc, leading to queues.

Welcoming and helpful staff. Lovely dinner and good breakfast. Complimentary bikes enabled us to enjoy the cycle trails by the sea. Proximity to the spectacular castle. Close to the station.

Asked for baby crib when booked and nothing was set up when we arrived, went down to reception to ask again (phone in our room not working), came the narrowest crib with neither mattress nor sheets, TV remote out of battery, need to go down to reception to change battery (according to receptionist, phones for the entire 1st floor is not functioning.) Parking lot is renovating, protecting nets hanging everywhere, narrow driveway (parking fee 195kr/night).

The Bathroom as well some furniture needs some renovation! If a Hotel is sending out a standard email with options for SPA and other activities, they should as well already inform that on a Sunday morning for breakfast, slots are needed to book in advance. This would have been a better customer experience than inform during check-in where there was no option!
