I usually don’t write reviews, but I loved this hotel so much I feel they deserve special recognition. Older hotels can often be a little shabby despite renovations, but this place has both cosy, old world charm while achieving standards for cleanliness, upkeep, and comfort equal to the best hotels. Being a short and easy walk to the bus and train station as well as the city center, it was in a perfect location. Staff at the desk were welcoming, helpful, and efficient, and without my asking, helped me carry my luggage up the stairs since there is no elevator. My room was nicely proportioned, quiet, and very cosy. Breakfast was great. There is also a nice little lounge in the reception area with tea and coffee for fika alone or with others. (And for a delicious fika treat, check out Bageri 96° on Stora Torget!) I only wish I could have stayed here more than one night!

Very responsive staff and trying to accommodate us in every way possible. The property is newly renovated and the rooms have reasonable size and are well furnished. Shared showers and toilets but fully renovated. The common kitchen and big common living room look so nice. It wasn't fully booked which made for a calm and pleasant stay with no queue in the common bathrooms.

We stayed here twice on a trip to Stockholm last week, taking a break to go inland for a bit. We really loved this hotel both times, and our room was even bigger and better the second time. The breakfast is delicious and everyone on the staff is very nice and efficient and helpful.

The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious with a lot of choices, and the young women at the front desk couldn’t have been nicer. The location was great too. Lots of dining and shopping options right around the corner.

Only complaint was that the bathtub floor was extremely slippery, we used washcloths to stand on when showering to keep from slipping.

The woman at the front desk maybe the wife of the owner but she is so nice and pleasant. Seemed like she wore multiple hats but was always kind whenever a million people asked her for different things at the same time!

Easy to reach. Spacious. WiFi worked well. Within five minutes walk to centre. Terrific free parking in front of hotel. Great view of the castle. Oscar was extremely helpful.

The location was great, close to bus line. Fantastic mini library! The hotel decor inside was classic. Artwork and furniture was a 👍 nice touch.

Tiny room. Bathroom designed wrong, the shower squeegee situation was fraught with water getting everywhere. No outlet in bathroom, but possibly a safety issue. No breakfast offered. Surprised the staff had little recommendations for us. Dock area, two blocks away, had a decent breakfast to offer.

Room was very small. Hard to keep the bathroom floor dry as water will come out of the shower. Hotel has provided a small squeegee and that helps but the design of the Showers is beyond our comprehension, honestly.
