It is a very comfortable, spacious and quiet apartment, even though it is extremely central to all the amenities of this lovely small town. You are on the doorstep of the marina, the lagoon and beach, as well as a range of different shops and restaurants. St Leu has a lovely relaxed vibe, people are very friendly. I’d highly recommend it as a location to base yourself in Reunion, having also stayed in St Denis, and St Pierre and spending time in St Gilles, its accessible to lots of things to do on the island The St Leu lagoon itself is as good as l’Hermitage for sea life.

The villa is absolutely stunning. Charming property, it’s very cheery and welcoming. It is in a great part of town, close to the state gardens, historical streets and restaurants. The amenities are great, Nathalie who cooked and hosted us is an incredibly special person who made us feel at home from the minute we arrived. Her breakfasts were wonderful, with something homemade, demonstrating the food of the island every morning - manioc, cassava, fresh fruits - we were truly spoiled and very happy we chose the villa for this trip. We will absolutely be back!

We have chosen this accommodation not only because of the great location close to the vulcano but also because of the description on Booking.com, which is guarantiing a washing machine and an outside grill. Unfortunately, both were missing. The apartment was quite cold. We had to use our own sleeping bags as the blankets hadn't gotten the sheet.
