Beautifully designed and very well-thought property which absolutely exceeded all expectations! Very clean and packed with everything you might need, with a beautiful garden full of ripe mangoes and star fruits (it has a blender as well, so you can have smoothies every day!). The outdoor bath is fantastic and exactly what you need on a hot day. Very close to the beach (5 min walk), multiple grocery stores in the area, plenty of ubers - a drive to Old San Juan is 10min without traffic!

Loved everything, but for light sleepers it might be a bit noisy - the legendary rooster was already mentioned multiple times here, but it's also loud music at the neighbors and the garden packed with wildlife which can get very active at night (the property provides earplugs!). Also, there were LOTS of mosquitos during our stay - would be nice if some repellents can be also provided by the property.

The location and the friendliness of most of the staff were wonderful! Ricardo and Daniela were super helpful when I asked recommendations for dessert spots and information about transportation around the area and island. The size of the room was great for the amount of people (though out of my two week stay, it was never completely full, which was great). The space and look of the entire hostel was a higher scale than I was expecting, and I really enjoyed my entire stay.

My one only dislike about my stay was the one male overnight staff member. I never got his name, but he worked 1am on June 3rd (as well as other nights, but he was working when I checked in). His personality made sense for why he worked the overnight shift. He was not friendly in any instance that I interacted with him. I arrived close to 1am on June 3rd and he made no attempt to buzz me in when I tried opening the door, and I even stood outside for 5 minutes looking through my emails to see if I missed information about the door code (no code is sent via email). He only buzzed me in after I tried the door again because I figured maybe I needed to pull harder to open the door. I obviously looked like I just flew in, since I had my 32” tall pink suitcase with me, so I didn’t look like a random person wanting access. Later in my stay, I became friends with a roommate and he had accidentally locked his car keys and locker keys in his locker, and when the roommate and I went downstairs around 6am, he claimed that we would need to wait for the morning crew at 7am because he didn’t have anything to open the lock, and was also busy catching a lizard under the desk. Another woman also told me that he charged her an extra $200 when she checked in but her stay was already paid for. The night of June 12th was a black out, and I had gotten back to the hostel some time later once all the generators were up and running, I go to take the elevator and he speaks to me in Spanish, which he has never done before and can only assume he did to purposely fluster me as I don’t know too much Spanish, to tell me that the elevator isn’t working. All in all, he didn’t impact or ruin my trip, but if you work in hospitality, you have to actually be polite and kind to people. I understand this is probably the only job he can get due to his bad attitude and awful people skills. I work in hospitality, and he is subpar at this job. He’s the only person I’ve ever thought should be fired.

The place was cute and cozy, the AC unit worked very well. Nice premises, mango trees in the back, there was a shower outside to wash off the sand before entering. Host provided coffee (sugar/creamer). There was also information on the area located on the table with suggested things to do. (Family of 5, with no complaints)

Wishes there was a comforter, the AC unit worked so well, it got a little chilly during the night.

Everything! The views, Palomino Island, the huge rooms. I highly recommend El Conquistador Hotel, or Fajardo, PR in general as a vacation destination. Will definitely go back and highly recommend others to go.

Coconut Palms Inn was exactly what we were looking for in our stay in Rincón PR. On the beach ⛱️ with that soothing ocean wave sound while falling asleep at night after a day of activities.

We liked everything about Coconut Palms Inn. Thanks to Valerie, Manuel and Elizabeth and Staff for making Coconut Palms Inn an exceptional experience and for going beyond our expectations during a heck of a time in Puerto 🇵🇷 Rico.
