This place is a gem. Staff are awesome we had a guy smoking outside our room and they handled it quickly. Come here if you're quiet and contentious- the vibe is unwind and be respectful of the space/nature. The grounds are so well-kept you can tell they owners really take pride in their place. Location is 100/10 for me- walk to the nature preserve/beach. Pool was great.

They should reconsider their policy that people leave their ID at the front desk to use a beach towel. Hold $10 instead. If something happens to a persons ID they are literally unable to board a flight. Travel documents shouldn't be held in exchange for anything especially not a towel. It's not reasonable and really detracts from what is otherwise exceptional.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights to celebrate my birthday, and it was the prettiest place I’ve ever stayed! The location was perfect; very safe, walking distance to amazing restaurants, beach is only 5 mins away, and pick up locations for Icacos Island and El Yunque are walking distance!

This hostel was the ideal base for exploring Puerto Rico. It’s situated in a prime location and has a great vibe. I enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor space and meeting people from all around the globe. The staff were excellent and provided wonderful tips on what to do and see.

Stay away from this place. The bathroom was really small in comparison to the size of the room. The AC on the first room they wanted us to stay at smelled like a sewer. Then when they changed us to the other room, the toilet flush handle was broken and the AC only worked when it wanted to. There was no cleaning done throughout our 4-night stay. Not even to empty the trash cans and replace the toilet paper. There was no one at the front desk during pretty important times like between 10 am and 1 pm. The only way of communication was through an email, no phone. We had to go get toilet paper from reception and it felt like we were stealing because there was no one at the front desk, but thankfully there was ONE toilet paper in there. There’s no inside lock to the rooms, just the code at the door. The real cherry on top was the cleaning lady on the day we were supposed to check out. Check out was at 11 am and at 8:30 am she OPENED our room door thinking we had already checked out. I was on the bathroom but thankfully she noticed we were still in the room and left. But shortly after we were going to the 787 coffee, the cleaning lady eagerly asked if we were leaving and this was at 9 am, still had TWO HOURS LEFT before check out at 11. Suffice it to say, it’s not worth the trouble. Don’t stay here.
