The staff at the hotel were so helpful and the free shuttle to and from town makes it super easy to get into town- which is only about a 15 min drive. The hotel is really good for the price, and came with free breakfast! They even made us a sandwich for us to take with us on our check out day as we were leaving really early. The rooms are very nice. Lots of space and the AC is very good

Bakawan Hostel has nice and big common area on the rooftop. It's a bit on the side of the town centre, but it's still about 5-10min. walk to the main square. Staff is super helpfull and nice.

I was travelling alone and visiting Coron during the rainy season and I was basically alone in the hostel. For some people it might be an advantage, but if you are more social person this time of the year it. might be the best to stay here.

Location was great, central to all amenities. Property and facilities were good, very spacious for 3 people. Owner was responsive, polite, and accomodating.

Add ons like a cooker, water kettle and dining utensils would have been helpful but no issues as we managed with the rice cooker and microwave oven.

The dog was a little annoying, always sleeping outside the room and my Daughter was always scared although there was no need for her to be scared, no coffee available when the machine broke and some items on the menu were not available ( beans in particular )

The view looking out to condominiums ,, room felt bit smaller to other places we stayed at , breakfast I felt Was average , it didn't change at all and lacked variety , surprised no bacon any of the 3 mornings and only once could get a hot chocolate. Was a bit further out of city area but closer to the airport

The screaming children in the pool. Put a sign up to say no squealing, no screaming, no shouting. Problem solved. Looking at reviews this is ongoing! Write it in English and philipono. Room floor was covered in sand. I ended up with sand in my bed. I had multiple showers. My fridge was not working. Gym you get one access. Breakfast is so subpar. I didn't mind sitting in the other room. But the fact I'm a solo traveler looking at potential places for my clients to stay and the breakfast was so disappointing. I also had no choice but to pay for 2 x breakfasts. I wouldn't have even paid for one. I literally ate rice, veggies, and subpar fruit. Eggs were severely undercooked. The rooftop is ok. Service is slow. View of the ocean is only when you step out of the room onto the balcony and it's partial. And you have to listen to the screaming children!!! At least the pool shuts at 10pm and the screaming stops!
