The location is excellent. Close to supermarket, chemist, shops and a short walk to the waterfront. Rooms nicely furnished. Comfy beds. Staff were excellent…very friendly and helpful. Thankyou.

Aircon not warming the room adequately. Poor light set up in rooms. Breakfast is quite basic compared to similar prices elsewhere….the breakfast at the Hilton in Auckland is a little more expensive ($33 on the day instead of $29 - $4 difference) but incredible by comparison. But a plus is the kombucha…loved that. And immune boost shots. And the Bircher muesli cups…..

Lovely old building…could really come up amazing. Bed was comfy and clean. Shower hot. Good location. Friendly staff….language is a little bit of a barrier but helpful and friendly.

Milk for cuppas was a shared bottle in fridge. No thanks. Quite dated but enjoyed staying in a place with this kind of nostalgic feel.

Great transport to and from the airport! Friendly staff :) everything was made easy for us. Kitchenette looked as if it had been renovated recently, was quite nice.

Very loud in the hallway, and people showering next to us at 3am. There was also guest wifi but they didn't leave the password for us as far as I could see and was too late at night before we wanted it before we noticed

Cabins are a surprise. Modern and clean. Comfy bed. Friendly staff. Nice hot shower.

Location - sort of out the back…..feels a little isolated, especially turning up in the dark. Poor wifi. Maybe abit expensive. Paid $144 back at Napier for an amazing place…Pebble Beach Motel. And $140 further on the next night. But maybe it is the location and availability? No shampoo in the bathroom….had to wash hair with antibacterial hand soap:)

Then light in the bathroom doesn't work. I had told the staff member. She said she'll have a look at it, but nothing was done. The bed was very uncomfortable because it was too single put together.
