The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful at Hotel Roemer. The location was fantastic for accessing the tram, which can take you anywhere in Amsterdam. Easily walkable to Vondelpark, the Museum Quarter, and Leidseplein. Lovely breakfast. Peaceful street.

Our room was small (Amsterdam standard) but clean, a little noisy since it faces the street. Location is excellent, staff are very helpful and friendly.

Severely overpriced for the lack of quality, comfort, and staff treatment at the hostel. Someone else’s gum was stuck to my bed for all 4 days. I asked the hostel staff to clean it up four times and no one ever did. Instead, they gave me a piece of paper to stick on top on it myself! Also, mold everywhere in the hallway showers.
