Itza hotel is really a special place, a home away from home. I actually came back to stay longer. It's well placed in the town of Akumal. The beach is walking distance but you can also rent bikes. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. Very nice terrace and pool. The staff is incredibly nice and different activities are organized so it's easy to meet other travellers. Akumal itself is really a charming little town, with murals, a cenote, and a dedicated group of people working to conserve the culture and nature of Akumal - I would really recommend doing the half day tour of Akumal with Jairo, which you can ask for at reception.

Casa Chukum is a perfect place to stay. Everything is really thought out and user friendly. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the room was quiet with double glass doors, air conditioning was perfect and silent and the bed was super comfortable and the design of the rooms is unique and lovely. Great, clean, good sized real pool in a beautiful garden setting plus 2 rooftop spaces where you can hang out and also see the lagoon. The whole hotel is unique, thoughtfully designed and memorable. It’s also in a convenient location. Highly recommended

Easy to find just off the main shopping strip. Can be noisy at night and early morning being off the main strip. I bought noise cancelling ear buds which helped but would be nice to have them supplied. Bedding was comfortable, amenities are great, staff are friendly, rooftop is awesome too! Would easily stay here again.

Some of the staff were very nice, especially Julio. The view from the rooms on the top floor is lovely. Lots of nice birds flying around. It was only 5-15 minutes in a car to most places we wanted to visit

Our room was pretty dirty, the surfaces hadn’t been wiped, we found an old sock in the cupboard, and there appeared to be traces of a blood stain in the bathroom. The food was bland and very overpriced. Some of the staff were nice but one receptionist was very unhelpful. We went to Chichen Itza for a couple of nights before returning back to Real Inn so we wanted to leave a suitcase behind and just bring rucksacks but she refused to help us. The hotel was almost empty so there was definitely space to leave a suitcase in the luggage hold but she told us we would have to pay the full price of a room to leave a bag overnight! She would not help us with suggestions for luggage storage place in Cancun either. It just does not make you feel valued as a customer. The gym is not great, the cable machine only has one attachment and one of the cables is broken. The location is pretty poor as there are not many decent restaurants close to it, Playa Langostina is nearby and very nice but other hotels seem to own most of it. There is a scuba school that was using the pool which does not make the vibe very relaxing. The WiFi is not very reliable.

These apartments are so spacious, the hosts so friendly and accomodating, location absolutely perfect. I highly recommend. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in PV!

We rented a bungalow that included a small kitchen. The problem was that there was no air-conditioning in that part of the bungalow. The only AC was in the bedroom. That’s not how it was advertised. We left a day early because it was so hot during our stay.
