If there is a desire for a home away from home experience, BaySide is an excellent choice. Stan, the owner, is an amazing host and goes beyond the call of duty to ensure a comfortable stay. At BaySide, getting to town is a mere ten minute walk but if this seems alot, then you could take advantage of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Did I mention the view? No I didnt! Had I not, then this review would incomplete. The view of the Bay is immaculate! Will definitely repeat!

Hosts were very nice and helpful (with information, washing clothes, ...). Apartment is very spacious and clean. Veranda is very pleasant, under the roof (so pleasant shade), with nice views and nice breeze in the evening. AC worked well. Kitchen was well equipped. It is not far from the beach (500m) and buses from Fort-de-France stop quite close (200m), main bus stop is further away. Shops and restaurants are close to the beach.

The surrounding area is mostly ok, though slightly run down. Isolation of the windows is not the best so AC is probably quite inefficient, but was not practical issue for us. AC is only in the bedroom, which we knew beforehand and were fine with.

Location was beautiful. Studio was clean. Host was already in place upon arrival. Views were incredible. Had lots of perks, like a washer which I wasn't expecting. Enjoyed the key lock box at the door which allowed us all to come and go freely without being locked out of the room or being obligated to be together at all times. It definitely allowed freedom to my 3 girls to do their own thing and travel freely.

Beach was not on site and was a little walk away. However e pool area was beautiful. Was a little complicated understanding where we were allowed to sit as renters as compared to visitors at the pool club.

The property is beautiful and very private and surprisingly spacious, I loved the connecting outdoor patio we have that had access to the pool and deck. The pool was always kept sparkling clean and very refreshing to end a long day. I love the property and will look to book here whenever I am in Martinique again, I have no interest in looking somewhere else.

Hosts were awesome, very friendly. The room was clean and well stalked, had everything from towels to ironing board and close pins and dishes. It's at the top of the complex so close to the main entrance/lobby but further from the pool

My biggest issue with the property and I explained to the host was the fact there was only one key for the room which made it complicated if travelling with others, seeing we don't always move together. They said they would look at different options . The other issue is that there's no beach directly on the location but it's a short walk away.

Flexible host. Was able to leave my bag while I hiked. You can walk to town. I walked to start of hike (Montagne Peleé) well hitching a ride up to trailhead. Staff are friendly.

Communication to arrive was basically zero, not even in French. I had to figure out how to arrive and what to do to get there myself. I didn't even have an address but eventually Google maps had the right location. Still no signage until the reception.
