My stay at Luang Phasouk Hotel was perfect, the grounds were clean, our room was very clean, the hotel interior was very nice and created a very cozy and relaxing feeling, the hotel is located right next to the museum and the royal palace, in front of the gentle Mekong River, just 1 minute walk we can visit all the places here, the breakfast here is very good and has many choices, the staff is very friendly and enthusiastic, if I come back here to travel I will still choose Luang Phasouk Hotel as a place to stay

location was good, staff were friendly but just lacking any kind of information or attentiveness. that you could buy water for a good price at reception (although most other places I've stayed at provide water so take that as you please), breakfast was minimal options but it was free so I was happy with that.

this place felt really dirty, I had bites & hives all over me by the time I left this place (was here for 3 days), ended up booking somewhere else for my last night. I had a private room and the pillow was the worst pillow I have ever slept on in me entire life. They claim this as a social hostel but absolutely nothing about this is social if you are a solo traveler, they didn't tell me about anything and I found out about tipsy tubing etc through a different hostel which is the one I ended up moving to for my last night. I also didn't get told about breakfast until I had to ask, just really lack of communication and social activities.

If you want to loud music until 3am you can go there. Surrounded by many Bar here. If you don't like air-conditioner you come here because most of aircon here not good enough working.

Too loud because of many Bar. No wi-fi signal in the 3 floor. Too old air-conditioner not good working. You have to check air-conditioner before check in.

We stayed here for four nights and it was fantastic! Great big rooms with comfy beds, and really close to town. Really helpful and kind staff. Would recommend staying!

The Google map link sends you to the other side of the river. So adds 6 kilometres to the nearest bridge - which is you're cycking after a 100km day is enraging. No WiFi in the rooms
