We booked a family room (two double beds) for 1 night and the room was excellent value for money. The hotel is at the edge of the traditional area and is large, modern and comfortable - very predictable. Yes, you have to pay extra to use the rooftop pool. We spent almost as much to use the pool as the cost of the room! The 2024 hotel guest rate to use the pool is 18,000KRW (off peak), 23,000KRW (semi-peak - when we visited in June), 30,000KRW (peak season). I think non-hotel guest charge is 50,000KRW. There did not seem to be a time limit of two hours, we entered at 4pm and were told we could stay until it closed at 9pm (there did seem to be limits on re-entry though). The pool and pool area are nice. There were chairs and some sun loungers free to use. Lovely views over the village. If you don't wish to use the pool, the room only is great value. If you want to use the pool, factor in the additional costs into the room rate and enjoy!

Paying extra to use the hotel pool facility as a hotel guest is difficult to understand as this is not standard in EU.

This property is 84 years old and located in Hyewha, a fairly central location in Seoul known for its theatres and art galleries. It's not a hotel but actually a family home with parts turned into an apartment and a single room. Traditional Korean Hanoks are based around a central courtyard, accessed by a gate. The rooms all have doors facing into the courtyard. The owners are friendly and speak good English. The one person room I stayed in was compact, well equipped, comfortable, and competitively well priced compared to sleazy "love motel" alternatives.

The room was tiny, though well designed and comfortable to sleep in, but I wouldn't want to do anything more than sleep there. It bothered me that the door couldn't be locked from inside.
Incheon, South Korea
Positive section of review
I chose this hotel for the closeness to terminal 2 of Incheon airport, and in effect was a wise choice. Well connected with shuttle buses, both for going from airport to hotel and from hotel to airport, 5 minutes trip. Rooms very basic (Ibis standards), but comfortable. The presence of an e-mart shop open 24h is a plus, as there is nothing around the hotel in case of small needs.

1) breakfast starts only at 6,30. For travellers that have to leave before (like me) no chances. 2) Apart that there is a restaurant, but the prices are far too expensive for a dinner at buffet. It seems they take advantage of the fact that once you are there you cannot go anywhere else.

The owner is very friendly and you can reach him at all times. Also the price is very low compared to other hotels in Seoul.

The shower room was a little bit unclean. Actually there was a cockroach inside. It was not that big of a deal though. The room itself was clean.

property location is good . very nice cafe nearby
Negative section of review
furniture quality was very bad . there is no bath towel in bathroom. no aircon in rooms . one central aircon in living area that space is tiny that hardly cannot can move around. there is rack with vinyl record but the stand is so fragile that u will end up avoiding to stand nearby in living area . So could not sleep at night because there was no aircon and fan in rooms and aircon in living area not enough to cool down the place if u close the door of bedrooms. One room has pull out bed , when you open pull out bed then you can’t close room door. bathroom is too small for both shower and toilet and shower is just handheld shower next to sink .

No staff around, no cleaning in the room, lots of mold, the window couldn't even close, the walls where just stickered over mold and the room smelled. Towels small, dirty, everyone can just walk in, blankets didn't get changed or anything
