We got there really early ( our flight got in at 8:00 ) check in wasn't until 4:00. We took a chance and showed up at 9:00 and reception was open.. We asked if we could leave our bags till the room was ready. We walked around town, had lunch and at 1:00 they msg. me and said our room was ready. That was a big bonus for us. Staff was super friendly and the rooms were exceptional in every aspect. They even set up a taxi for us to return to the airport the next day.

Stay was very good. We could see the views of Kirkjufell from our studio apartment. Sebastian the property manager helped us with all the questions and concerns.

They advertised in booking.com like the stay I was booking for was the cottages which are more fancy. However when we got there we found out it was a studio apartment. Wish they posted more photos and made it very clear that stay would be in the studio apartment and not the cottages. But Sebastian really helped us and made up for the disappointment with the misleading posting on booking.com for the property.

The room was in the center of Vik so it was easy to walk to other places around there. The rooms were simple but nice.

The breakfast doesn't have much to it. It could just be a cultural thing and I'm used to something different since most places we stayed had breakfasts similar to theirs.

We arrived late ca.03:00 and at 8 in the morning staff started opening and slamming all the doors on the floor waking everyone up that had not left yet. Grabbing the doorhandle to our room checking if we were still there. Very annoying and unnessesary!! Really low ceiling in a room on 2nd floor, Ok for me (167cm) but not great for husband and son (196cm and 193cm) who could not walk around the room without bending down or tilting their head.
