Since it's only 10 points scale, we can give only 10; otherwise, we would have given 20 🙂 Beautiful apartment, clean, spacious and nicely furnished. Balcony and a terrace in a small garden. Very warm welcome and we even have profittted from professional massage services provided by the hosts. The small town is in the heart of Schwarzwald region and many beautiful spots are within 1-1.5 hours of driving.

Amazing communal social area and facilities, quiet, comfortable bed, very clean, spacious and light. Loved the tea and coffee in room, toiletries and everything provided in kitchenette. Good storage space both for hanging and folded. Couldn’t want for more. Fantastic area and connections to airport and around Berlin.

The location is the best asset of this hotel, not only located at the city center but also with an U-bahn stop right in front. Easy to access. The staff was friendly and the check-in and check-out were fast, with no complications. Several good restaurants can be found around the hotel area.

The rooms are quite small. During my stay it was also sunny, with pleasant temperatures outside, but this turned out to be a problem for my room as the AC was not working (turned off) and the floor heating of the bathroom was on. This made the room a bit too hot, which could be a problem during hotter days. The breakfast is buffer but I consider it to be overprices (24€ per person). There are several cafés around the hotel that provide a more comfortable and relaxed breakfast experience with better adjusted prices.

We really liked the location. The staff during the day are super friendly. Breakfast was offered at good times, delish and easy to navigate. The vibe of the lobby, restaurant and outside area is super cute and we liked that very much.

Not accessible (the elevator goes to half floors, so you have a staircase either way. We were placed in a room that was down several hallways and across ANOTHER stairwell that included stairs). The wifi and cell reception was non-existent and didn't work. The door wasn't flush to the floor and the lock felt flimsy. The lack of security and easy-entry other than the front door made this very concerning and we didn't feel safe in the far rooms we were placed in with the proximity of the back stairwell. Our balcony was shared with the room next to us, which had a glass door, and also led to feeling unsafe when leaving our things in the room for the day. When the fan was turned on, there was a plume of dust that flew off. It also stirred a lot from around so we had to air out the room for quite awhile until it blew off enough. The "loft bed" is a dark crawlspace up a very steep ladder and a mattress on the floor. There is not enough space to stand up and it was very misleading. I'm not surprised that it wasn't pictured in any of the listings. Bathroom was for ants. To get to the toilet you had to step INTO the shower, move the door, and go around. The towels were super small, too, it didn't fit it around my body. We were three adults - average sized - and we STRUGGLED with the size of the room (note we're campers and can rough it when we need to). The safe we had in our room wouldn't lock - the electric wire was literally hacked in two. There was no coffee/tea maker in the room and no fridge. The courtyard was very loud, very early in the morning. Not surprising being in the middle of the city, but good to note if you like to sleep in a little. The man who checked us in and worked at night was less than pleasant. He was very unfriendly and unaccommodating. When asked to be switched to a larger room/would pay for it (we were 3 adults who signed up for a 3 person room), he said that none of them were clean.
