The apartment's location is excellent, nestled very close to Nuremberg's historic old city center, making it incredibly convenient for tourists. It is very spacious and feels like a home away from home, thanks to its cozy ambiance. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary utensils, which was perfect for cooking meals during the stay. Thanks Olaf!

There was an unexpected noise early one day in the morning that sounded like a metal barrel rolling down the stairs, which was quite disturbing. Additionally, despite the apartment being well-stocked with towels, the lack of soap and shampoo was a slight inconvenience. Still, you can not find better location!

It was well-cleaned before arrival, the decor is mostly nice, the bed is decent, and the location is calm. Would be OK for a 1-3 night stay.

* The host would vanish and not respond to messages for days, only responding to telephone calls during the week, or getting back after hours on the weekend. * There was one set of towels and sheets for a 10-day stay. There is a washing machine, but no dryer, so it's impossible to wash all the sheets and towels and be sure you can sleep on dry sheets or use a dry towel that same night. Requested a new set and the host said they only provide 2 sets for stays over 30 days, and asked for 35 EUR to bring fresh towels only and clean the apartment even though there was no need for a cleaning. After 3 days negotiating for new sheets also, finally paid the 35 EUR only for them to not show up as promised that day, the next day, or the day after. Called back to cancel and make sure they didn't charge the card for the "extra service." This is not what anyone wants to be doing on a business trip or vacation! * Asked about early check-in months before when booking and was told they'd get back about it 24 hours before arrival. Tried to follow up several times and no response, but there was an airport transfer booked from booking.com so assumed it was possible to check-in. After arriving was told it was not possible to check in and that it would be possible to drop locked bags but they weren't responsible for anything stolen. Ended up storing them at a nearby hotel for the day for security. * Shower not sealed, so it's impossible to use the wand without getting water everywhere or hiding in the corner of the shower. Also tricky to wash dishes in the kitchen sink without getting water anywhere.

We could not get out the front door to get our Uber at 6am on the day we were leaving. The back door to the parking lot was unlocked but no one explained this. The young woman fixing breakfast showed me, but it would help if the hotel put on the Bookings app some instructions "if you are leaving before breakfast" or something like that.
