Hotel location is very good, just around the corner from the main town square. Helpful reception staff, all of whom spoke decent English (few people speak much English in the town). Room was adequate for a one night stay. Clean and tidy. Likewise bathroom. Very nice breakfast room, with a good choice of food - mainly the usual cereal, bread, cheese, ham, fruit etc. Not much hot food. Jihlava is not really a tourist town, being somewhat off the 'beaten track'. There are few hotels in town, and this one was obviously originally one of the largest, but now caters for business people, tradesmen and a few intrepid tourists - mainly Mahler aficionados I suspect. The hotel has a beautiful, if slightly tired facade. Railway station (Jihlava mesto) is about 10 minutes walk away, but beware, it's all uphill to the town from the station (downhill obviously going back!). There are cheap taxis around in the town though.

Hotel reception is dark and dingy. Not particularly welcoming - there was clearly a small bar and seating area in reception, but I never saw anyone using it. It's very much a functional hotel rather than an attractive tourist oriented one.

Good location, very close to I.P.Pavlova metro and tram stops. Lots of eateries very close by. Ideal for exploring the centre of Prague. Good sized, clean rooms. I was given a room at the front of the hotel overlooking the square, which had great views, but worth noting it can be a bit noisy with trams, traffic and late night revellers. Breakfast is a decent typical continental. Very pleasant and helpful reception.

Hotel is a very 'classic' old building and there are signs it's a bit 'tired'. Only one small lift (elevator). There is a bar area on the ground floor near reception but it never seemed to be open. Breakfast could be a bit more inspiring, with greater choice, but it was basically adequate.

Staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet was magnificent and well worth the price. It was so handy having a metro stop across the car park - straight into the centre with no hassle. Didn't need a car! Oh and the Thai Massages and pedicure in the Spa are Fabulous!

The air conditioning didn't work in our original room, but we were moved as soon as we let them know. Try to avoid getting a room on the top couple of floors as, the lift mechanisms are a bit noisy if you are a light sleeper. But again, they moved us a second time with no hassle at all!

we booked here for proximity to the airport and the free shuttle. That worked well.

The taxi service the hotel recommended for going into Prague (15 - 25 minutes depending on where you are going) was (we found out later) 3 times as expensive as an uber. The desk staff weren't as helpful or pleasant and we would have expected.
