The views from the room and from the eating place were beautiful! We saw different birds and a lot of greenery. Breakfast was delicious and included Colombian food! They were a cute couple. It has the basic necessities that you could expect in someone's house. No safe though. They did keep our luggage in the kitchen after check-out which was appreciated.

The main problem was that they did not take payment through card. We had Canadian dollars in cash with us, but the lady got really sceptical. It seemed like she was not familiar with that currency. She physically pushed out of the house (not aggressively, but still imposing) and told us to take out cash in pesos or American dollars. That delayed us in reaching Cocora Valley because it was hard to find money exchange or ATM. The money exchange office in the Armenia airport was closed at the time we landed (8.30 pm). I would also not walk outside in that neighbourhood alone at night.

Really nice staff! They always opened the door for us, carried our luggage, one staff member even let us use their cellphone because we were having some difficulty! The place is really cute and tidy. They have a jacuzzi on the roof which was nice to soak my feet in after a day hike! For breakfast, they ask you what you want to eat, and they prepare it!

Curtains on the door were see-through, so privacy was compromised. Walls were not sound-proof. I could hear what the couple next door was doing.

It is a small but very well equipped apartment in a safe area. I parked my motorbike on a little parking space just in front of the door. It is not locked but it was safe. Nelson and his Sister are super nice and helpful. Next door is a little shop and a pizza place. Would recommend and come again.

Amazing location, we have been travelling for 8 months and this has been our favourite hostel. We met great people here, the staff were great and the activities all fun. The food was also some of the best we have had in our whole trip.

Location very good, next to a shop and lots of food/drinks nearby. Area felt safe, although we didn’t really leave during the evenings. Facilities were good (wifi super quick) and host quick to reply to Whatsapps if any Qs.

Paying for the property was more difficult than it needed to be, as you don’t come into contact with any staff. Bathroom wasn’t particularly clean (hair left in shower and floor not cleaned).

Amazing family guest house in great location. We loved our stay here with the family, the location was perfect for getting to the national park. The breakfast was great and everything was great value for money!

Clean room. Really close to the beach and lots of artisanal places, if you wanna do some cheap shopping.

The rooms are above a casino and some sort of pub. There was really loud music from there until 3 am. There was no safe. No hot water, but again, this is Santa Marta and it's very hot there.

Breakfast was okay. Could use a bit more diversity and variety, especially for non-meat options. We could also hear a lot of noise, including music, talking, screaming on the floor outside our room until late at night. They could ensure that other guests are not disturbing others.
