The vast majority of staff were so lovely and helpful, always easy to get a drink and loved how there was a welcome drink as we arrived as we really needed it after a long journey! The lobby is beautiful, Bahamas restaurant was great with amazing crab cake and lobster, breakfast buffet was great too. We also enjoyed the calypso bar. Best thing was the beautiful beach outside with jet skis and water sports, and also how great the pool looks from a distance! The balcony to watch sunsets too was fantastic. I loved the coffee bar too and the lovely lady working there one day who started our day off with a smile.

The infinity pool unfortunately - I loved it to begin with but when I changed spots and sat closer to the bar there was tissue, chicken bones and so many insects. I never saw it being cleaned in my 4 days staying there. Also the outside of the building really needs painting from the back! Having to do everything from an app was annoying - especially as we don’t know about this before arriving or was even told about it at check in - we missed all the slots for eating in the restaurants but were luckily squeezed into the Bahamas restaurant. Our door - we could hear everything happening outside including somebody buffing the floors in the hallway which woke us up one morning. We could hear conversations through the door but luckily not through the walls.

This hotel is full of character, it's very Bahamian. Lovely views over the water (although you are not directly next to the ocean). I'm not sure it's a hotel that you would want to stay for two weeks but for a short stay/layover it's very good value for money and the staff are all charming.

The water flow out of the shower was very poor - perhaps there was an issue of supply during our stay and it might not be an issue on other occasions.

Nice pool, stunning view, beaches nearby, perfect place for solo travellers to meet new people and located in a quiet neighbourhood with less tourists than downtown area. Would recommend (the girls only dorm)!

power outage twice in 5 days, so no electricity or water for a couple of hours each time. No connection to contact the hosts either. Buy an e-sim while in the Bahamas!

The can improve on cleanliness. Bahamas is expensive, so you get what you pay for. For the cost of this facility, you shouldn't expect much. The facility however is below standard. The pool is unkempt. They didn't change bedsheets for my entire stay of 8 days!!!!
