Breakfast was most pleasant. Staff were so friendly. The front desk people Ava and Alex were incredibly helpful and friendly. Location was perfect for Sofia opera’s Ring Cycle. Particularly helpful were dinner recommendations.

Nothing. I liked all. AC was a little tricky to figure out. Sometimes too warm and sometimes too cold. For several days I had a long legged daddy spider in my tub. I did not want to kill him but did not know what to do. Showered around him. One day he was gone. I just hope he disappeared to the place where he had originally come from.

Nice accommodation, situated in a quiet location. Close to the beach, restaurants and market. And a very nice night walk to the old town. Welcoming host. Couldn't help noticing the cleanliness.

Nice garden and swimming pool helpful staff and the property was mostly clean although on arrival the bathroom had not been properly cleaned

the food selection was very poor and never hot and was very disappointed with all inclusive no bar open only in restraint and after catering staff went off duty you had to go to reception for refill but more important there was no sugar free soft drinks and didn't have any ice , cocktails were not included in all inclusive so better to just go out or pay for the few drinks we did have very disappointed 😞

This is not a 3-star hotel, but a dinge. Everything about this place is a lie. The ''so-called'' hotel is not located in the city centre; it is around 30 minutes from the centre on foot, and it is located in one of the most dangerous areas of Sofia. The surrounding area is full of drunkards, vagrants, beggars, criminal individuals who harass the guests and stray animals. There are no amenities around the hotel, no bars, no cafes. The hotel staff is insulting and the breakfast is not served but thrown at you. At breakfast at which you get 2 spoons of coffee in the cup, people are served who are not Lion's guests. Around the old building, there is a tram line running with very old vehicles, and when they pass through the whole building shakes. The windows are not soundproof, so there is so noisy outside that it is impossible to sleep. This is a place which only pretends that it is a hotel, even the hostels provide better conditions and service that this disgusting, awful hole.
