I recently stayed at Limehome and had a mostly positive experience. The room was decent and clean, and the check-in process, though 100% online, was not too difficult. Just make sure to keep an eye on your emails the day before arrival. The room had a good fan, which was very helpful, and the online support was generally responsive (except for one request). The hotel is easily accessible via public transport to the city center, and the lower price reflects its location just outside the main area. Overall, Limehome offers good value for money with easy access to public transport, but be prepared for the limitations of a staff-less hotel.

However, there were a few issues worth mentioning: 1. As it’s a staff-less hotel, the online check-in process can be inconvenient if you’re traveling and not checking your phone frequently. You might spend some time accessing the property upon arrival. 2. The main entrance door was supposed to be accessible only with a code, but it was open 24 hours, which could be concerning for security. 3. Common areas could be cleaner; the maintenance staff needs to do better. 4. The electric kettle in the room was in poor condition and very dirty, and the online staff never responded to my request to address this. 5. There are no extra pillows or towels available, even in emergencies, as there is no staff on-site. While I didn’t face any issues, this is worth highlighting for potential guests

It was not fresh juice in breakfast, warm corridors - no fresh air. Aircondition was very loud. Had to Ask for new towers, it was no room cleaning before 15-17. I think it’s too late in the day.

It is difficult to create a nice temp. for the room Even with the windows open it stayed 24 degrees inside. Also with the airco 23 was the coldest. I like cold rooms to sleep but for others this might not be a problem😉.

Expensive for what you get, but since everything in Villach is I guess this is a fine ‘budget’ option for one night. Very basic room, no nice atmosphere due to the self check in and lack of decorations or something. Would be great if there was a mini fridge and if the coffee machine would give free coffee since there’s no service or anything that they have to spend money on. Also the bathroom was a bit smelly.

It could offer more and better basic facilities; for ex coffee, tea, sugar, cooking oil, stuff for quick cleaning.. Simple instructions in advance would save many messages, for ex where the bin is.
