Amazing location, amazing staff. Great rooms, they have something for everyone and so many activities if you want to join in. The food is delicious. Would highly recommend and would definitely come again!

One of the best hostels I've stayed in, not just in Colombia. The staff are so lovely and friendly, the breakfast was awesome, rooms and facilities were super clean. Could not fault it!!!

The kitchen facilities were limited and it was a bit dirty at times, so we weren’t able to cook there unfortunately.

Rooms were really nice, clean and comfortable beds. Great location and really friendly staff who were happy to help us out with any questions we had.

My main gripe is the unnecessarily loud music in the common area in the evenings. Had to yell over the music just to talk to other travelers, creating a pretty unsocial vibe.

Good central location in La Candelaria. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a private room which was clean and comfortable.

The smells of the cleaning agents and from the laundry room. Too overwhelming and perfumy.

Hostel atmosphere with friendly and supportive employees. They organize tours and take care of all needs their guests may have. Located right in the Candelaria neighborhood. Sleeping was possible thanks to good noise insulation. There are double doors between the public area where the bar (and music) is located and the sleeping quarters. On our second stay we were assigned to room 204, and it had wonderfully thick glass windows that reduced the hardcore partying in the neighborhood to a faint murmur.

Would be great to have a window blind to keep out the early morning or late night lights from the courtyard outside my room. It was blurred glass, but a little hard to sleep with the bright light.

Staff went above and beyond in the Cranky Croc. The breakfast (paid extra) was incredible and the bed was the comfiest in south America. I'd recommend it to anyone staying in Bogota. They also helped me arrange a transfer to the airport and I joined the walking tour led by Jacqueline which was very informative and interesting.

Best hostel we stayed in during our South America trip, we would recommend this place to anyone. Comfy large bed, double doors between social areas and rooms so it is very quiet in the rooms overnight, really clean, helpful staff, lots of activities available each day/night.

Really enjoyed my stay in this hostel! Some of the standouts were: - All of the staff are super friendly and helpful - The airport transfers were safe, punctual and well-organised (thank you to Carlos Arturo!) - The location in La Candelaria is close to shops, restaurants and museums - The tours that they hostel helps to organise are great, and it's convenient that they depart from and return to the hostel - The food in the hostel restaurant is lovely, or you can use the kitchen to make your own - The common space is separated from the rooms, so even if there's music or chatting, you can't hear it from the rooms (unlike most hostels) - There's a social vibe, but a relaxed one rather than intense party (you can easily go out into Bogotá if you want that) - The pods are great - they give you extra comfort and privacy and they've got all the 'little things' that you need: hooks, plug sockets, lamps, lockers - Everywhere was clean and the showers worked well

I was at this hostel Feb 2023 and March 2024 on separate trips. I note that most of the staff are still there and very professional and positive. Well integrated into the local scene, their excellent English etc means they can get you sorted for tours quickly. Very impressive operation and super friendly staff!
