Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

ColombiaThe room was very noisy, as it is located near a main street in the center of Medellin. Breakfast was regular, it would be nice to improve the room and presentation of food (not a lot of options)
Rooms are old but they are in good condition. Bed was very comfortable. Contact with hotel before the trip was easy and they were very helpful to organize transport and other requests.

United StatesThe pool and gym were under construction and not available, the gym was only cardio and had no free weights. The guy at the front desk was quite rude and laughed when I asked if I could check in early and said check in is only at 3pm. This is in contrast to what they has preciously told me through booking when I asked if I could check in early, they said yes. Quite unreliable.
I liked that it had a pool and a gym and the staff was on with me Checking in early at 11am.

SpainThe hotel rooms are not secure. The cameras don't provide views of some entrance doors to the rooms. In the morning I left a wrist watches on the table(and the table is a step away from the entrance door) and when I came back to the room in the late afternoon the $200 watches were stolen. I paid for the stay $188 and I asked to return that money for my stay. The manager watched the video camera records but camera line of view wasn't even close to the entrance door area. She refused to compensate me for my loss "Because I had to keep All valuables in the safe". I didn't consider leaving my personal belongings ( like $200 watches) in the Closed door room is a Problem. It's not Real Valuables but Now I understand that I had to hide almost everything. I'm very disappointed that Hotel management decided that This wasn't a Big deal. In there opinion I was "negligent" and The hotel doesn't do anything about it. Yes, I understand that Legally they are not responsible for any customers losses but I believe that Compensating me for the loss (what I had paid for my stay) should not be a problem for such a big (13 stories) hotel in the Center of Medellin. I have Very Bad Impression about my stay. The breakfasts are very simple(all the same for 6 days: coffee, orange juice, Chocolate and small portion of scrambled eggs with little piece of soft cheese. Yes, toasts were there, and butter with jam.

Hotel Gran was in a nice location. There is a restaurant right next to it which is open 24 hours. We never felt unsafe walking to the restaurant in the night time. Everyone was very friendly, they booked cabs and tours for us in moments notice to go everywhere.

Canadarooms were not quiet, too much noise from the street and also noise came from somewhere from pigeons, could not slept. Also the hotel after paid they charged Tax that it was included in the price of booking plataform. I understand to pay tax, but it supposed to mention before pay or booking it. They charging extra tax only to colombian visitors, it does not matter if you are a tourist or a foreign citizen.
The reception and cleaning staff were very helpful and friendly. Very good communiaction and information on what was needed, also it was vey clean place.
