We were leaving at 2.30am to catch a flight, and although I had told the person on reception the night before and they had assured me that there would be someone to let us out, there was no one around and I had to work out how to let ourselves out (not easy!). The neighbourhood is quite busy and noisy - great if you want to party, but less pleasant for families.

The staff were generally friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of choice. The room was very quiet and spotlessly clean.

Everything was perfect

This is my new favourite place in Bogota. The room was super cute. The shower huge and hot. The bed was the most comfortable I've slept in in a long time. Nice linen also. Super quite. I had the best sleep.

1) We did not feel safe in the neighbourhood. We chose the hotel because the reviews said that everyone felt safe walking around the area, but we did not, even during the day. This might also just have been in our heads, though! We took uber everywhere. We saw heroine needles on the ground only one street away and we were often glared at by small groups of people who were hanging around on the street. Fortunately we didn't encounter any trouble, but if we visit Bogota again we will choose another neighbourhood. 2) Our room was situated above the restaurant. The music started at 5:30AM. And, our last night some food got burned and our whole room and the hallway smelled horribly. It took all our ventilation equipment before we could go to sleep at 2AM. 3) There is a lot of noise outside until 11PM. Unfortunately when we were staying we also had many guests who were very loud (like singing at 1AM). The hotel can't help the surroundings, but we felt that they could have been a bit stricter on inside noise from 11PM onwards.

The room was nice and clean. The bathroom had hot water and the bed was comfortable! :) We don't eat eggs, so at breakfast we were given some avocado, with which we were very happy!!

The internet was hard to connect to, but the front desk helped us. Also, they only provide bath towels, no face or hand towels. Although it wasn't a big deal, we didn't ask for them. Keep in mind the staff is so friendly that I have no doubt that they will help you the best they can if you have any doubts.

The accommodations are comfortable and offer great value, with a good breakfast. It's clear that they take pride in their meticulous cleaning and the tasteful decorations throughout the spaces. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The only substantive complaint (and it is minor) is that it was initially difficult to get both my iPhone and my computer to connect to the WiFi, eventually they did connect (and then both worked well).

The breakfast was good. One morning the coffee was weak, but mostly it was excellent.

Breakfast was a bit poor and, for the first time in my life, water was not included. They assigned us the wrong room on checking in (we paid for a 24m2 and got a 16 or 17m2). After complaining on the day after, they recognised the mistake and got us what we paid for. It was also hard to get an invoice, but after some insistence finally they sent it.

The place itself was well decorated, a mix between new wave and kitsch. The room (the one we stayed after the first night) had a nice environment. Staff was nice, especially the front desk girl that solved our wrong room assignment.
