Rooms in the first floor are quite dark, especially those close to the stairs.

The people are extremely nice and welcoming. Breakfast is good. The place is in a very good location and is not too exposed to noise and the building is nice

Noisy. I booked a room with views to the patio and swimming pool area, and I didn't get one. The room smells like dump, and early morning was some building work done, and it was quite noisy.

Hotel is very good. Beautiful historical building with nice rooms and pool in the middle. Staff was very nice and friendly. Breakfast was nice. Location is very good. One of the best and busiest places of the historical walled city. If you are thinking were to stay in walled city or in getsemani, my advice is to stay at walled city.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was old. A/C worked great, but due to the age of the building and the humidity in Cartagena there was some mold. We were able borrow towels from the hotel for a day trip. The breakfast was ok. The location was phenomenal for being able to walk to restaurants, shopping, Getsemani, the docks, and the fort.

Amazing breakfast, the best part about this hotel is its location. Everything is walkable from the hotel location. I would highly recommend this place for budget stay.

Nothing to add in terms of expectations. A suggestion would be to add a small complenentary item e.g. a bottle of water or a small chocolate as part of the welcome.

Excellent Breakfast. Glad I asked for a quiet room - the room I got was at the back so a lot quieter than being close to the street. Great location in the walled old town and close to everything. Loved the colonial architecture of the hotel. Well stocked mini-bar with decent prices.

The AC in the room made my throat itchy. No ventilation in the room, which worsens air quality. I would not recommend it to someone with respiratory allergies (like myself!).

The location was convenient and the terrace had a beautiful view of Cartagena at dawn.

Analog TV wasn't user-friendly.

The location to the city center was excellent. Breakfast was acceptable.

The TV in the room didn't work, we did tell staff about it and were told it would be fixed but it didn't happen during our stay. The hotel is also right across from a nightclub and very noisy until late at night. The water in the shower wasn't always hot.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, surrounded by restaurants and within walking distance to the beach. The breakfast options were excellent, different kinds of eggs, fruits and pastries. The room itself was nice and spacious, really good AC. Our room also had a balcony with beautiful views of the street. The staff were very helpful and nice.

All in all the experience was good. Is a small hotel in the center of Cartagena but with the needed facilities.

Perfect location in the middle of Cartagena. Near to the clock tower, where many tours and the red bus are. The staff is very friendly. I recomment to book directly with the hotel a tour and not from the streets, I saw people not getting what they paid for.

The location meant it was noisy at night but it wasn’t an issue. It’s also a bit tired - towel holders falling off wall, bathrooms a bit dated.

It’s right next to a very noisy disco. In some rooms it’s not possible to sleep before 3:00 am. Make sure you get a quiet room. Then your stay will be pleasant.
