Location was amazing time of shops and restaurant near and only 5 min to the beach- no car needed and Uber was convenient and cheap when we used it (rarely)

What didn't we like. From the location of the hotel to the friendly staff who did everything to make us feel comfortable, can not think of anything I would change. The attached pasterie shop was a nice surprise as well.

The hotel is situated on the main busy road which may ruin your impression of a resort hotel but it is quiet once you are inside your room

The hotel is in quite good location close to the beach and local shops and restaurants even they have their good restaurants inside hotel where you can find delicious food at reasonable prices. Most of staff happy to help

- The sound-proofing is non-existing. The worst I’ve experienced during our travels in Chile, Argentina, Brasil and Colombia. And I do use earplugs while sleeping! The interior is all in marble so the corridor just enforce the noice; you hear the small chats from other guests in the corridor, the flipflops walking to breakfast, you hear other flushing toilets, and of course the ventilation systems and traffic from outside. I even got woken up 2 AM by a vibrating mobile phone from the room next door, and I’m usually not a light sleeper. They did change us to another room the last night to try to solve our issues, but the soundproofing problem is not isolated to a single room it must be a design or construction issue. A suggestion to improve the situation a bit would be to decorate with a lot of textile that dampen noice. - If you are looking for a pool with sunshine, this is not the hotel for you. I believe it has maximum 3 hours of sunlight during midday, as the pool is squeezed in between walls on the bottom floor. Half the pool is under the hotel building as well. - The wifi is really unstable, you get disconnected a lot and it is intermittently slow. I was not able to have WhatsApp video calls and sometime could not even enter basic webpages. - Our “view” from our first room could be improved. There is so much street art in Cartagena, they can just ask someone to paint a sunset/sunrise on the wall instead of this grey backyard.

The area is perfect you right in the middle of everything so you never run out of options. The guy that helps you out with activities was so helpful and amazing. The staff very nice . Definitely a great price. Breakfast included was amazing everything so fresh . The room was comfortable.

Pool is disappointing - not really an area to relax around it and would be much better if it was properly outside Wifi wasn’t reliable Also quoted 90.000 COP for a transfer from the airport by the hotel when you can get a fixed priced from the authorised airport taxis of 24.700
