We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

NetherlandsThe way the front desk treated us was very disrespectful. I've never experienced something like that in any other hotel. The pool on the roof was small and there were left over fruit pieces floating around. The rooms are very noisy, you can hear the other room literally word for word from the bathroom.
The bed was great and the look of the hotel is amazing. It was clean.

The hotel served a dinner with salt in for my mum despite repeated requests and their assurances that it would be without salt due to a serious medical condition that could be fatal if she eats salt (kidney issues). When we sent the food back they scraped some sauce of the chicken and sent the same meal back. It was late and we had been travelling all day so by this point nowhere else open and no dinner for mum. No apologies from the staff 2. we had a room on the 3rd floor, no windows/balcony/natural light (which was unexpected as all the photos on booking showed rooms with windows etc). Then to make matters worse it flooded during a storm on the second night. When I complained to the front desk he shrugged and said it happened regularly. We had a 2 month old baby in a cot in the room, this isn't acceptable. 3. wifi is non-existent 4. simple amenities like kettle missing from rooms, made it very difficult to sterilize things for the baby 5. staff attitudes very blaze, no proactiveness, have to ask for everything multiple times. No apologies or offers to make it up to us after dinner fiasco and flooding. very disappointed.

The hotel itself was very nice, i loved the decor. I was a little disappointed i thought i was getting a room with a balcony from what i saw in the photos but we did not get one. The only thing that i really didnt like is that the toilets took like 5 tries to flush everywhere not just the room. Otherwise place is very pretty.

ColombiaWhen we arrived at the hotel, there was no one at the front desk to assist us. We spent about 30 minutes waiting for someone. Upon arrival the receptionist did not seem to be clear about the processes and it was very difficult, unclear the check-in process. We had no clarity about the hotel services and basically the welcome process was: "here is the access card to your room and there is a welcome cocktail in the bar". Very bad first impression for a hotel considered luxury.
The room is very comfortable, perfect for a good night's rest. The location is very good, as it is in the historic center of Cartagena.

PhilippinesBreakfast is simple, limited, and repetivw for this kind of hotel. They should offered more options (for example only eggs without bacon or sausages is too little and simple). Also, should refresh the options.
The hotel is very elegant, and makes you feel like at "home" from day 1. The rooms are spacious and the two pools are fantastic. The rooftop deck has great views of the city while sunbathing. Thank you to all the staff for making an unforgettable stay. Great location.

United StatesThere were just two minor things in the room that we didn’t love. The overhead shower didn’t get very hot so we used the handheld and one of the bathroom lights was flickering constantly which was a little annoying. You can hear the outside noises very well but we didn’t have issues sleeping.
We loved the location, beautiful pool, comfortable bed and attentive service.

-the whole staff and crew which are very polite and welcoming (nuris,jorge,kevin, rene and the bfast morning crew @ vedana restaurant) -cleanliness of the entire property -the picturesque pools (main pool and rooftop pool) -good smell of the room and the whole property -free bike -bathroom toiletries -comfortable bed -well maintained property -safety -free bfast

GermanyThe staff here are fabulous. Mostly. The hotel is beautiful. This is not the problem. But when you stay here and they start repairing banging , grinding and invading leisure spaces it feels uncomfortable. The room roof dripped onto the pillow every 10 minutes probably from air con I'd suspect ,but the attitude was ' thank you for telling me' . So much for the "superior room'. However most annoying was the greed. I don't mind paying more but when they charge you over 35 euros for a third of a bottle of cheap plastic cap fizz from the mini bar , well, that's just greed. Pure and simple. Can't abide that behaviour . I really can't. So , I have to mark.it down which is a shame as the service from the restaurant was second to none and the food nice . Pity .but shows how easy it is to spoil something. Note : rooms have no view , plumbing poor and noise into bathroom quite loud as not sealed and backs onto the reception.
